The rules and applications for developing and utilizing Power Armor within a Shadowrun campaign have plagued us all for a long time. I have finally just developed a very simple way of dealing with the problem. I've created several charts and matrix's to assist in the development of Power Armor for use in you Shadowrun Campaigns. These are guidelines for creating the suits and have several flaws and inconsistencies, but they should be worked out within your own campaigns.
GAMEMASTER NOTE: You would agree with me when I say that no two campaigns are alike. Some GM's permit their PC's to become invinsible and allow them to dominate, while other GM's keep their PC's within certain specificaions and allow NPC's and the bad guys to control the majority of the power. Power Armor can be used as a tool to help both ways. If you want your characters to have the ability to just pound on everything, then set few resitrictions with the armor, however, if you like to keep some control.....feel free to apply as many restrictions as you see fit.
