ROOTED IN THE PAST, LOOKING TO THE

THE ANTIOCHIAN CATHOLIC
CHURCH IN AMERICA
Fr. Gregory's Links
Fr. Gregory is entirely responsible for the contents of this page; mostly, these are simply links that I have accumulated over
several years surfing the Web. Since other link collections
are included, some attempt has been made (according to Meyers-Briggs™,
I am an INTP
), to eliminate repetition. For the most part, I have not
included links to mainstream Roman Catholic, Canterburian Anglican, and larger jurisdiction Chalcedonian Orthodox sites because they are readily accessible elsewhere. Inclusion here does not necessarily imply endorsement by either Fr. Gregory or the Antiochian Catholic Church.
Note: If anything on this page, or on this
website for that matter, in any way violates any copyright,
service mark, trade mark, etc., it is unintentional. If you, or
any entity you represent, hold same, PLEASE contact me before
taking any further action. I will be more than happy to resolve
the matter.
Fr. Greg's Personal Webpage on AOL.
- The Rev. Fr. Gregory Ned Blevins
- This page was originally set up to introduce fellow AOL members to the ACCA and to lead them to THIS site. It still has that function, but it also has come to serve as a sort of "Blog" for me and has expanded into quite a florigellum of quotes from various sources, including myself. It is my prayer that, along with this site and other, it will bring many to the fullness of the Apostolic Orthodox Catholic Christian Faith.
-
The Antiochian Catholic Church is in
communion with the following jurisdiction:
- Anglican Catholic Communion - USA
- The ACCUSA, formerly known as the United Catholic Church,
is a Chalcedonian, primarily Western Rite jurisdiction
centered in Jacksonville, Florida and Augusta, Georgia.
It is not to be confused with the Continuing Anglican
jurisdiction of similar name
-
Other Jurisdictions of the One, Holy,
Catholic, and Apostolic Church:
- Assyrian
Church of the East
- This is the "mainstream" East
Syrian Church. It affirms the Councils of Nicea and
Constantinople, but declared its independence from the
Church of the Roman (Byzantine) Empire prior to the
Council of Ephesus.
-
- British
Orthodox Church
- This jurisdiction is in communion with the
Coptic Church of Egypt.
-
- International
Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church
- Seeking to blend the historic
"Catholic" celebration of the sacraments with
Evangelical theology and charismatic renewal, the
Charismatic Episcopal Church is one of the fastest
growing denominations on the planet.

"Traditional" Roman Catholics who
"ordain" women.

- Subtitled The World of Autocephalous Churches,
Fr. Tony Begonja's masterpiece is probably the single
best website of its type. My links collection is designed
only to supplement Fr. Tony's fine work. (Some links
are broken, but this is mostly due to the transient
nature of much of Independent Catholicism.)

I grew up with. Now I read the online version daily.

- The "Path Guy." Dr. Ed is a
pathologist, a "man's man," an Episcopalian,
and something of a renaissance man as well.
-
- The Cornerstone Forum
- Basing itself upon the work of Rene
Girard, and Gil Baile's Violence Unveiled, proclaims what is probably the foundational anthropological meaning of the Gospel.
