Pets And Pals!!

Pet Memorial

My husband and I dedicate this page to the wonderful group of pets that have entered our lives over the years. Some the the cats and dogs were our childhood pets. Some of them came into our lives after my husband and I were married. Each of them will forever hold a special place in our hearts and minds. There is nothing like the love from a pet. It is one of the truest loves you can find! Love them, and treat them with kindness, and it will be returned.

Butch This my my dog Butch. he was the best dog a kid could have! He was always there to listen to me when no one else would. He loved to play ball with me. He was a beutiful Shepard and Collie mix. He had been abused before I got him, so he didn't trust men. My husband Jerry was the only man that he ever trusted! He died in 1980 at the age of 17. I will always miss you Butch!
This is my cat Skeeter! As you can see he was a very beautiful white cat! He had Persian in him so he had a very soft coat. I carried him home in a shoe box, the runt of the litter. Several months later he was larger than any of his litter mates! I had him and Butch at the same time, they got along great. Butch loved Skeeter from the first night I brought him home. He would not leave me alone, he knew that I had some kind of little animal in my arms! I know that the 2 of them are having fun together now! Skeeter
Trixie This was my husband Jerry's dogTrixie. She was a solid white dog, kind of like a Eskimo or a Spitz. He loved her very much! I am sorry to say that I never got to meet her, she died before Jerry and I met. I hope to replace this graphic with a picture of her soon. I know that Jerry misses her very much!
This is Monkey. She was the first pet that Jerry and I had together. She was such a sweet cat! She found us one night as we were walking home, it was cold outside, and we couldn't just leave this poor kitten out in the cold! She loved for us to toss her toy mouse through the entire house and down the stairs. She would run and bring it right back to play again! Unfortunately we didn't have Monkey long, she stayed at my grandmothers after I had my daughter. She got out of the house and we never could find her. We both hope she had a long and healthy life! She was our first baby! Monkey
Peek A Boo This little guy is Peek a Boo! A full bred Pekingese. Don't let his size fool you, he had the heart of a lion! He was not afraid of anything. We got him when our daughter was about 2 years old, He lived to be almost 18 years old. We had him in the last years of Butch's life. Those 2 were quite a pair! I can't say everything here that he meant to me, I still cry when I think of him. Peeky I love you guy! Keep Butch company, and Salem will be with you soon! She misses you too!
This little girl is Sugar. She was always such a tiny cat, she only weighed about 5 lbs., But she could be a tiger if frightened! And just about everything frightened her! She just recently passed away in January 1999, at the age of about 18 years old! The last few years of her life she managed to learn to cope with the other cats in the house. She could be such a sweet heart. We miss you Sug..... Be a good girl! Sugar
