Hi! I
would like to introduce you to some of my best pals. They
are always there when you need a warm friendly face and a
cold wet nose. Since I was small I have always loved
animals of all kinds. Fortunately for me so did my
husband! Over the years we have had many come into our
lives. Each has their own unique personality, and a
special place in our hearts. Below are some cherished
photos of most of our pals.

This is Sam Mee Pero de
Blanca "Sammy." She is a pure bred
Samoyed who is almost six, and we've had her
since she was five weeks old. She is beautiful as
you can see. Soon after we got her we discovered
that she has several birth defects in her eyes.
Causing them to be a pretty blue color and not
the normal brown of her breed. She is somewhat
nearsighted. When she was two years old, we found
out that she was also a diabetic. She takes daily
insulin shots, which from the beginning she has
been very good about. She is a wonderful dog and
an excellent breed. She always looks like she is
smiling and she is always playful. |
Sammy's Best Friend
Always Sammy's best friend,
here is Walker. He is a Treeing Walker Hound. He
is five, a year younger than Sammy. She needed a
best pal to play with so he came into our lives.
He was only supposed to be 35 lbs. full grown,
but he has acheived a remarkable 99 lbs. As a
puppy he was all legs and ears as you can see
here, but now his nickname is Moose, because he
looks like one! Treeing Walker Hounds are very
good hunting dogs. When he trees anything he
stands over six feet tall. He has a very loud
clear bugle bark, while his pal Sammy has a very
yappy bark. |
