It isn't only in the towering trees

nor always in the lovely rose

that you can find the magic

in how God's goodness shows

It does not have to be the wonder

of an eagle on the wing

for God has put much beauty

in many smaller things.

For I see His gift in the butterfly

and the violet small and shy,

and in flowers drinking raindrops

whenever God's little clouds cry.
