My Visit With God
I'm here to spend an hour, Lord,
Just visiting with You;
I'd like to tell You all about
The things I want to do.
I want to ask Your loving help
In all the things I've planned;
Unless they are against Your will,
For you are in command.
I'll site here for a while
In silent thought with you;
Your love will soothe my troubled heart
And all my strength renew.

Wings of The Morning
When unsolved quandries fill my mind
and worrisome problems dangle on the line
of thought,
to God, I closely cling--not as one
alone, distraught;
but as a woman, whom God has strenghtened
through a deepening sense of confidence,
and lenghtened
reliance in Him; knowing, all I fear
will disappear......
Even as the morning breaks across the sky,
bringing light in on its silent wings,
to live or die.
