IN LOVING MEMORY OF MUFFET
"Help me to be the person my dogs think I am"

My Muffet
Pekehaven's First Peke

Miss Muffet

Muffet was the first Pekingese I owned, bought as a seven week old puppy from a couple who owned both parents and wanted "just one litter". My mom had passed away and I wanted a companion to ease the loneliness. Muffet certainly did that. From the first day, she won me over completely. She was small, black with tan and white markings and had all the traits associated with the Pekingese breed. She was loving, loyal, stubborn, aggressive at times, afraid of NOTHING and could "beg" for hours. She was an excellent watchdog and also got along with the Collie and Bassett Hound we had at the time.

Tombstone
Muffet is buried at the Pet Cemetery
in our hometown. Her gravestone was
bought for her by her "daddy", Larry.
She converted him just as she did everyone
who knew her. All the Pekes of PEKEHAVEN
are here because of her. Her sire
sire was St. Aubrey of Caversham and
her dam was Chinatown Chelsea. We named
a new puppy, Muffi, in honor of
Muffet.

Rest in Peace, my sweet little girl.
I miss you every day
Your "human mom",
Sandi

My spirit is free
I am everywhere

In the air that you breathe...In the sounds that you hear
Don't cry for me, Mom...My spirit is near

I'll watch for you...From the other side
I'll be the one running...New friends by my side

Smile at my memory...Remember in your heart
This isn't the end...It's a brand new start!

This award made especially for Muffet...
Please do not take it but they will make you one
for your Rainbow Bridge angel.

Muffet

On March 9, 2002, we lost our wonderful Mickey.
We miss him very much. He was a sweet adorable fellow.
