If you don't know who Sandra Bullock is I don't know why you even bothered to visit this page, nor where you have been living for the last few years. Anyway, if you really are interested here it goes.
Sandra Bullock is an actress, currently 33 years old, who is at the best of her carreer (at least until now, for it might get better). She has performed in many movies such as Speed, While You Were Sleeping, The Net and A Time to Kill, appart from parts she played in other movies which are reported in the Filmography Section of this page. She has also got some experience in TV sitcoms, theatre acting and has produced a movie herself called Making Sandwiches in which she also stars. She has also her own production company, Fortis Films.

Sandra Bullock was born on July 26, 1964 in Washington D.C., daughter of John Bullock (American voice coach) and Helga Meyer (German opera singer). Three years after Sandra's birth her parents had another child, Gesine. The first twelve years of Sandra's life were spent in both Salzburg, Austria, and Arlington, Virginia, for her mother's work required her presence in both cities.
      Sandra's first experience in acting was at the age of eight, playing the role of a gypsy child with her mother. According to Helga by the sixth grade Sandra had already decided to be an actress. At the age of eleven she fell into a creek and got the scar she still carries above her right eye.
      Sandra studied in the Washington-Lee High School from where she graduated in 1982. She was an above average student and after joining the cheerleading squad she was voted "Most Likely To Brighten Your Day" by her senior class. She continued to study at East Carolina University in Greensvile, North Carolina where she enroled as a drama major and was taught by Don Biehn, who still holds good memories of Sandra's abilities in acting.
      Three credits short from graduating Sandra moved on to New York where she studied method acting by the teacher Sanford Meisner. Later on Sandra moved to Los Angeles to continue studying acting. Four years later she got the main role in the NBC sitcom, Working Girl. She also starred in Love Potion Nº 9 as a psychobiologist together with Tate Donovan. She didn't become famous with this movie, perhaps because the of movie itself. However she did meet her "soul mate", Tate Donovan, who co-starred with her in the same movie. Staffers on the film were surprised the two got together. According to them "Sandra was a sweetheart. Donovan seemed more interested in his close ups.". After three years of relationship the two broke up, and Sandra ended up emotionally hurt, but was able to recover well. By some kind of cruel coincidence, by the same time, Sandra also lost her Jack Russell terrier, Luigi, one of three dogs she owned.
      From this on Sandra got several other parts, one of which was Speed. This movie was the real boast to her career, for it was a real hit."Everyone told me not to do Speed. I mean, it looked like I'd be just 'the girl'. But I've learned to do things by instinct.". And her instinct couldn't have been more accurate. After Speed came While You Were Sleeping, which was also a very successful movie. Since then Sandra's career hasn't stopped booming.
In my own oppinion Sandra is one of the most desirable women on earth not only because she is very beautiful but mainly because she doesn't look at herself as being superior to others (which is a common thing among famous personalities). And to prove it whe have the director of "The Net", who has said "Sandra doesn't have a star attitude. People see a lot of themselves in her.". She is very different from most women. She likes to try out everything, make people feel comfortable and you have to admit it, none of this is common among famous people. For example when she tried out doing some handy-man work at her house she found it quite fun and when renovating her Spanish-style cottage in L.A. Sandra ended up doing much of the work herself.
