THE RING OF DOG LOVERS

This webring is for people who love dogs and have dog homepages.  Now the dog homepage can be any dog homepage.  It can be your dog's homepage or a dog site with just links, or with tons of dog info.  I was looking through all the pet rings at RingWorld and I found there was a Cat Lover's Ring, Pig Lover's Ring and a Bird Lovers Ring, but no Dog Lover's Ring.  And we can't have that, can we? =) Heh Heh...Anyways if you love dogs and you have a homepage on dogs, you are more than welcome to join us.  However, this ring is NOT FOR ZOOPHILES.  If you don't know that is, and I wish I didn't, don't waste your time getting out the dictionary because it will gross ya out.  Anyways, if you have a non-obscene dog page and you sincerely love dogs, then by all means, please join us!

Info On Joining:

- You must love dogs!
- You must have a dog related homepage based PRIMARILY on dogs.
(meaning, if you love dogs but you only have a site for yourself, please don't submit your site).

How To Join:

Step One:  Do the paper work! Fill out the form at the bottom of the page! Oh yeah, you won't BELIEVE how many "error" emails I get saying, 'Error: could not send "Ring of Dog Lovers Submission.' Invalid Email address." So please please please, check it twice?

Step Two:  Then paste the Ring Fragment directly onto your page, or if you're a html advanced kinda guy, tweak it so it satisfies the look you want.  (The ring fragment will be emailed to you once you submit your site to the queue. So, um, make sure you enter the correct email!) Most of us cyber dogs already know how to do all this, but if you don't, please send me an e-woof and growl at me. =) I'll give you detailed instrutions, pronto.

Step Three:  If you used the original ring format (the one emailed to you), then download the two images below. The one with me *Blush* on the image and the "Next" graphic.  I made that graphic years ago, but it seems to work for a lot of you, so there you go.  I have since made some attractive new ones, so take your pick.  If you use a different one, then remember to save the corresponding ring graphic to your main directory of your website.

Step Four:  Email me (goldendog16@yahoo.com). Tell me that you put the webring on your page and you're ready to be added to the ring.  Please tell me your site ID! Many people ask me to add them to the ring however, I don't know which site to add! Make sure you give me your email (if mailing from one different than the one entered below), website URL, site ID, and tell me how to get to the webpage where the ring is at.  (For example, it's on the Links/Rings Page)  I don't like getting lost, and if I can't find the ring, then you won't get added.

If your email is wrong I will delete you from the queue. If the URL you entered does not work I will have to delete you from the queue.  You have 14 days to add the webring to your homepage or you will be automatically deleted from the queue. However, you are welcome to join again and get it right. =)

Step Five:  That's all, folks!  Sit tight and you'll be added into the Ring of Dog Lovers!

Default Ring Format (personalized html will be emailed to you):
This is the official ring graphic and format. The html will be emailed to you (if you didn't get it, you entered your email wrong). Just copy and paste it into your page's html code.

I made new ring logos that are (perhaps) better looking. In order to use them for your page, copy the HTML fragment below them, copy it to your page, and add your site ID in place of the underscores to personalize them.
