I have not been into the chat room yet, but even so I think it is a brilliant idea. I have always wanted to chat to people about Elvis and share their views about the icon of the century. I am devoted to Elvis, I love all his songs, all his films. He can make me feel good about myself just by listening to his music. What would make this better is if you could have him in here live and in person. I will always remember my trip to Graceland...Lisa Marie was little in a golf cart riding around out front with Red West driving. I drove up the drive next to the church by he house and found the back gate. A man (don't know who he was) was changing the oil on the pink Cadillac and I asked him for the Oil Filter. He was nice enough to give it to me. I still have it and would not trade thoses memories for anything. Thank God for sending Him to us and thank all of you for still caring. There will never be another Elvis. I hate it when people try to immitate him. I loved all his records. It's sad that his life ended like it did and he was so young. He was a very talented person that was unhappy even though he could have anything he w nted to have. He was a very lonely person because he was so well known. He couldn't go anywhere because of his fame. Every time he went out he had to have a body guard because all of his fans wanted to get close to him. His death was tragic and a wast because he could have gone on with more good music and recorded more good records. I think he never got over his mother's death. He was so close to her. I think that is one reason he died so young along with being unhappy about not being able to go ou of his house without a body guard. He had and could have anything he wanted, but still he was a very unhappy person when he died.
