Welcome to the Juraian royal family's home on Earth! Actually, you might want to consider this to be the Juraian extended royal family. While the First Crown prince of Jurai, the First and Second Crown princesses, and the First Crown prince's successor are present at the Masaki residence, their "friends" also reside there and are considered to be family as well. Take a look around and visit with Tenchi's family, even those back on the planet Jurai!

What is Tenchi Muyo! ?
Mix Ranma 1/2, Ah! My Goddess, You're Under Arrest, and a bit of sci-fi anime and you got...Tenchi Muyo!
Wait a minute! You're not familiar with Tenchi Muyo! ? Well, Tenchi Muyo is an anime by AIC that concerns a 17 year old Japanese boy named Tenchi Masaki who lives with his grandfather and father. He leads a pretty normal life until one day he breaks open a seal which was used to imprison a demon named Ryouko whom Tenchi's ancestor Yousho imprisoned in a cave near his grandfather's shrine. It turns out this demon is a beautiful girl who at first decides to play with Tenchi by nearly killing him, and then she makes herself at home at his house. Tenchi's life becomes even more complicated when Aeka, the 1st Crown Princess of Jurai, and her sister Sasami, the 2nd Crown Princess arrive on the scene. Aeka is looking for her half-brother Yousho (yes, the same Yousho who is Tenchi's ancestor) who left Jurai when a space pirate named Ryouko (yup, the "demon") attacked Jurai. As you can probably tell, Aeka and Ryouko do not get along well, and to make a long story short, they eventually engage in a space battle which disables both their ships, and thus they end up stranded on Earth, specifically the Masaki residence. As if things weren't bad enough, both Aeka and Ryouko develop feelings for Tenchi, and they constantly bicker over him. Tenchi just accepts them and Sasami as friends, even family (in Aeka's and Sasami's case, they are both related to Tenchi). Later, a Galaxy Policewoman named Mihoshi gets stranded on Earth as well, and later Ryouko's "mother" Washu joins the household. How does all this happen? Go out and see Tenchi Muyo! for yourself. You won't regret it =).

note:
Tenchi Muyo! has several "universes". The above information and the info on the rest of this page is based on the OAV series which is the first Tenchi Muyo series to come out. There is also a TV series, soundfiles, a series centering on Sasami, and a manga. While the storylines differ between the "universes", the characters retain their personalities.
