2002-03:

In 17 games Armstrong averaged 1.4 ppg and 0.2 rpg, while shooting 5-6 (83.3%) from the free throw line in 4.1 mpg. Due to the tension in his lower back, four times he was shifted on the injury list. In January 2003 he logged a season-high five points on 2-3 shooting from the field in one minute off the bench at Golden State. He was not included in the 2003 playoff roster.

 

2001-02:

He remained on the injured list and missed a total of six games. On 16th April against New York he recorded a career-high 13 points on 5-11 shooting from the field, including 2-2 from downtown. He totaled eight points on 4-6 (66.6%) shooting from the floor and two assists in 17 minutes off the bench against Chicago in November. In four minutes off the bench against Milwaukee he scored seven points on 3-3 shooting from the floor, including 1-1 from downtown. In December against Boston he tapped four points and grabbed two rebounds in six minutes.
