Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to, supporting, installing and customizing for new and existing RDBMS. Pitch in on consulting and development projects. Participate in design and development of web-based solutions that range from integration with existing technologies to creating new programs. These include programming with Visual Studio.NET Languages such as VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB Script, and SQL Stored Procedures.

Configuration of various enterprise class switches, routers, firewalls, and hubs.  Responsible for purchasing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco Firewalls, VPN connectivity, and Cisco routers.  Providing and maintaining technical expertise on security aspects of systems, including disaster recovery assessment of database, applications, and networks currently resident in the company and those planned for in the future.  Designing, creating, configuring, pilot-testing, and deploying domain forest hierarchies, and network infrastructure integration of two separate sites with Cisco Firewalls, Routers, Switches, RAID 5 Windows 2003 Enterprise Clustered Servers, Veritas Backup Servers, SMS, and IIS 6.0.  All of these were built from scratch and the goals for the proposed solution including sharing of a common T1 line network topology, security, and network management resources and all project requirements were successfully met or exceeded within the schedule.

Computer Technical Consultant (2000-2002)
MN School of Business & Sapphire Technologies
While teaching evening classes CGI/Perl and JavaScript at MN School of Business, worked as a consultant for different companies.

At Sapphire Technologies, I was responsible in reviewing, testing, and debugging their ASP and VB Scripts prepared by application developers.  Redesigned administrator's and user's GUI requests, created online forms and redefined their database attributes, tables, and relationships using SQL and stored procedures, while, at the same time, developing and debugging the related Scripts. I've planned, designed, and developed a three-tiered e-commerce with ASP and VB in the middle tier end and SQL Server on the back end.

Also, I was responsible for debugging the Apache and Tomcat Unix Severs, Database Design, Writing Nested and Stored Procedural Language/SQL on Informix Database, and Writing Crystal Reports.  Also, as a Network Administrator of four different locations, I was responsible for Cisco Routers configuration, Systems Integration, Network Design, Technical Support, Traffic Prioritization, QoS, Bandwidth Congestion Management, and other Networking Issues.

ASP and VB Programmer (1998-2000)
UNISYS Corporation, Eagan, MN
Designed and developed an e-commerce database system utilizing SQL, ASP, Java Script, VB Script, Crystal Report, and Stored Procedures. The system was built in Visual Basic 6.0, MS Access and SQL Server 7.0. This system is used by the entire Western Field Operations of sales group to track and report sales data such as client and supplier information, order forecasts, payment and delivery dates.

When developing this project, I was responsible for defining logical and physical RDB, attributes, creating tables, defining relationships between the tables, drawing semantic data modeling, writing scripts, documenting, installing and testing. Utilized VB Script and Java Script for validation of input data and generating friendly error messages and GUI to users.

VB & ASP Programmer (1998)
GE Capital, Eden Prairie, MN
