Welcome to Nobunaga's Castle |

Important AnnouncementAs many of you may be aware, Yahoo is closing its Geocities web service on the 26 October 2009. This means that Nobunaga's Castle will be unavailable from that date. At the moment, I have no plans to find another host for the site. However, I have ideas for a new samurai game, played on a hex grid that I will be developing over the coming months. Once I have that in a playable format, I will be making it available, somehow, on the Internet and much of this site, such as rules reviews (including the long awaited review of Battles in the Age of War) will reappear. When I started this site, I found it quite difficult to find what figures, rules, etc. were available for samurai wargaming. It seemed to be a real niche period. However, it quickly became apparent that there was a huge choice of figures and accessories available. Just look at the Figures page! Hopefully this site made it a bit easier for people to find what they were looking for. Just today I noticed that Peter Pig has released some new Ikko-Ikki warriors. Just what I've been waiting for... I would like to thank all those who took the trouble to get in touch with me over the years. Some even liked my rules! A special mention to Brian Bradford and Kent Reuber. Thanks guys. All the best, Ian Duncan.
