On April 24th, 1999, Rev. Jimmy Creech co-officiated at our Holy Union. Our celebration was held at Olin T. Binkley Memorial Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, and was essentially a covenant ceremony / worship service of the United Church of Christ under the direction of our pastor, Rev. Jill Edens. As a result of participating in our service and for providing us a ministerial blessing, charges were brought against Jimmy Creech by the United Methodist Church, Nebraska conference.
