The youngest of the three children of parents Arlene Marcelo and Erwin Perez was born on December 1, 1997 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

 Now at age six, Kurt Isaiah (known to his family and friends as ICE) is studying at the College of the Immaculate Concepcion where he just finished his preparatory education.

Young as he is, Kurt Perez is already on his way to stardom. He won the first runner-up award at the SM Star Club Child Search last year where he competed with 12 other kids from all over Luzon.

Since then he has been doing numerous commericals among which is an advertisement for Cebu Pacific (July 2003), Selecta Moo (July 2003), Colgate with Sharon Cuneta (August 2003), Solmux for kids (August 2003), UFC Ketchup (September 2003) and Swift Sweet n' Juicy Hotdog with Ai-Ai delas Alas (November 2003). 

This year, he is launched as one of the 14 child wonders of our country via the show Starstruck Kids. Indeed, Kurt has gone a long way.
