Making Our ChapterGrow FBLA has numerous ways in order to recruitnew members, such as: Posters, which are posted around the campus, membership committee, socials,a bulletin board, KDVH- Ch.3, Personal Recruitment, and Chapter Recruitment.
Posters FBLA members put up several posters around our school campus in order to announce FBLA's up coming activities and events. The posters potrayed the general ideas of FBLA which increased membership and participation in the meetings and other activities.
Membership Committee Our Chapter officers met to create a committee dedicated to recruiting new members. The Membership Committee did a excellent job in recruiting new members with preparing activities to promote the FBLA Chapter at our high school. Their work is greatly appreciated.
Socials: Ice Cream Social Early in the year the FBLA officers helped organize the annual ice cream social. The social was held in order to recruit new members as well as giving members old and new the chance to get to know one another.
Burrito Social Later on in the year a burrito social was held to welcome our advisor B.J. Powell back from his time off due to an operation. FBLA ideas and topics were discussed.
Pizza Social The first meeting of the new year was rung in with a pizza social held to welcome back all members. The goal of this meeting was to improve communication skills after the agenda was discussed.
KDVH-Channel 3 Del Valle's video productions class also runs announcements informing students of meetings, socials, and other upcoming events.
Personal Recruitment All club members also have a personal pride that they bestow upon friends and peers. In doing so we have found that this the best method for recruitment.
Chapter Recruitment The club as a whole relays letters and flyers out to students explaining what FBLA is about and giving them a chance to join in. Posters FBLA members put up several posters around our school campus in order to announce FBLA's up coming activities and events.
