I'll bet you were just dying to know if I have any pets! ;)
My Dog is Fast
Right before Christmas we were all heart broken by the death of BoBo, our Doberman Pincher. My little boy cried himself to sleep almost every night and the spirit of the season was lost in our sorrow. BoBo was the best dog in the whole world and to lose him so close to Christmas was more than we could handle. Well, as it would happen God saw our pain and had Santa deliver my son an adorable little puppy. She is a Wire Hair Fox Terrier and she has brought laughter back into our home. Although she has can never replace BoBo in our hearts, she is doing a good job creating a place of her own.
I would like to offer some free information, Dobermans are not mean! Dogs, like most people, only become mean if they are mistreated in some way. My Doberman was the most gental dog I have ever seen and I do know dogs! BoBo was Brian's horse, playmate, and guardian. I trusted BoBo with Brian more than I do most of the "people" I know.
And My Fish Are Cool
I have some very nice fish! They don't bark and they hardly ever bite! They are in a 45 gallon aquarium and they are my stress therapy. I would like to have an even larger home for them someday, but for now they will just have to be content.
I have kept both salt and fresh water fish and although the salt water ones are prettier, the fresh water ones are easier to keep. So I keep fresh water fish. :-)
My Cats...
I love cats and have had the pleasure of keeping company with several. I do not believe in keeping a animal imprisoned in a house 24 hours a day. And since it is often dangerous to allow a cat outside, I most likely will never have another one, unless I happen to move to a farm. :-(
Snakes
No I do not have any snakes! I out grew that years ago. I really did have a snake when I was younger, but my mom made me get rid of it. I never understood why it seemed to upset her so much to see me with a snake around my neck! Oh well I guess mom's are just funny that way. :-)
My Horse
My horse was the best horse in all the world! I don't have her any more but she is still in my heart. She was my life when I was a young girl and hadn't gone boy crazy, as my mom called it. Now that I think of it, she should have called it, boy stupid! Wow, if only I could go back in time I sure would do things differant. *sigh* I might still have my horse! Well maybe not, because that was a long time and horses don't live that...long! :-(
