Elizabeth Jenkins [Parents] was born on 28 Jan 1809 in Sydney. She married William Golsby on 12 Oct 1827.

Elizabeth and her sisters were assigned to James (William's brother) from the orphanage school at Parramatta.

Letter she wrote to her mother after her mother had been remarried to Charles Raven. Sarah was at Port Macquarie while Charles served a colonial sentence. She refers to her sister Elisabeth who was a nursemaid at the residence of Rev T Hassall. Susanah was the daughter of Charles and Sarah Raven. Susanah lived with the Golsbys.

This come with my kind love to you hopeing This will find you and your husband in Good health as it leaves me at present Thank God for it my Dear mother i received your last letter and i am Very happy for to hear that you have Got your husband asigned off to you And i hope with the helping of God i shall see you both at bathurst Before long but i hope my uncle will DO his utmost but i am rather Inclined to think he will be Backward but i hope he will not Susanah is growing a fine girl and She bahaves herself very well And she enjoys good health and she sends her Kind love to her father And you my children enjoy good Health and betsy send her Gradfather and you a Kiss my husband was down in sydney About six weeks ago and he seen My sister sarah and she says she likes her place and is doing very Well my husband send his Kind Respects to you and charles and my Kind love to you both

Jenkins.

William Jenkins, brother James and father and a friend of the father all convicted of sheep stealing. Story was that the 2 older men were hanged but no firm evidence of it. The brothers had death sentences changed to 7 years transportation. Father may not have been involved at all.

  M ii William Jenkins (convict) was born c1776 and died on 28 May 1814.

James Jenkins (convict) [Parents] was born in 1774. He died in 1835. James Jenkins (convict) married Elizabeth Saunders (born in colony) on 12 Dec 1815 in St Phillips. James arrived in Australia as a convict on 13 Jun 1802 in Coromandel.

Ended up living around Dee Why. His daughter left their land to Salvation Army.

Elizabeth Saunders (born in colony) married James Jenkins (convict) on 12 Dec 1815 in St Phillips.

Willam James McGill was born C 1832 in London. He died in 1892. Willam James McGill married Amy Emma Pereira on 28 Sep 1857.

He was married to Emma Pereira who died at age 21after losing 2 chioldren at birth. He later married Emma's cousin Jane Henry.

Amy Emma Pereira [Parents] was born in 1839 in Lane Cove. She died on 10 Dec 1860. Amy Emma Pereira married Willam James McGill on 28 Sep 1857.

Both daughters died at birth and Emma died 1 month later at age 21.
