August 13, 1980 to November 21, 1997
This place was not only created to
remember Melissa, but also as a place of comfort for those who have lost
a loved one.
A Little About Melissa
My memories are so very precious. Melissa was an only
child for 11 years of her life. Then through my second marriage she had
a step brother and a step sister. From the time of her birth, our bond
was inseperable. She was very bright, very witty and beautiful. Melissa
could have been anything she wanted to be. She had the drive and determination.
She wanted to go into the medical field. She also talked about having a
big family. She had a lot of good friends that loved her too. She could
always make me laugh, even when I was angry with her. When Melissa was
around, the weak got strong. She could talk to you, and make you feel like
you could do anything. She had incredible strength. Our love was and still
is a very strong love. Even though her life was cut short, I feel very
thankful she was in my life for 17 years.
