All-purpose balloon glass - A 10 - 14 ounce glass that severs
beer, cocktails, coolers, whiskey and
many other drinks.
Beer glasses - The list includes:
pint mugs, steins, schooners, balloon glass, Pilsener glass = a footed
and
elongated V shape glass.
Brandy snifter - A globular shaped glass ranging in size from
4 - 48 ounces used for Spanish brandy,
armagnac or cognac.
Champagne glasses - A tulip glass holds 6 - 9+ ounces and is
designed to conserve the carbonation of
champagne. The champagne saucer is shallow and
flat and disperses the bubbles much quicker. It
holds 4 - 6 ounces. A fluted champagne holds
4 - 6 ounces.
Chimney glasses - A elongated straight-sided glass holds 10
-16 ounces. Used for exotic specialty
drinks.
Cocktail glasses - A stemmed
glass with a variety of shaped bowls holding 3 - 8 ounces.
Collins or Tall Collins - same as chimney
glass.
Cordial glass - similiar to a fluted champagne glass, holds
4 - 6 ounces.
Double Old Fashioned glass - For cocktails on the rocks.
Holds 14 - 16 ounces.
Highball glass - A straight-sided glass holding 8 - 10
ounces.
Old Fashioned glass - For
cocktails on the rocks which holds 8 - 10 ounces.
Pony glass - a stemmed glass which
holds 1 - 2 ounces. Designed for liqueurs and brandies.
Sherry glass - A small flared glass which holds 3 ounces.
Can also be used for liqueurs
and cordials.
Shot glass - A fraction of an ounce to 2+ ounces. Used
for measuring or serving depending
on the design of the shot glass. Great for collecting
too!
Whiskey Sour glass - Or Delmonico glass; a stemmed wide opening
glass that holds
5 - 6 ounces.
