I added a few things graphically to the site in case you didn't notice :P I added a graphic to the entrance page. I added various Subspace icons next to the menu bar subtitles. Also I used actual Subspace bullets for the bullets next to the links :D The site has been better optimized for 800x600 resolution. I noticed that quite a few people visiting the site were using 800x600 resolution and the site looked horrible at that res. Now it looks good at both instead of just 1024x768. If you have any comments on the changes or just want to tell me how much you hate it, then email me or icq me and say so heh.

Both UL and Amateur League match times are now confirmed. Our United League match vs. Shaved Monkeys will be this Sunday@4pm ET in UL. Our Amateur League match vs. Quarantine is also this Sunday but at 5pm ET directly following the UL match.

Basically none of you have an excuse not to show up on Sunday as we have 2 matches that day :). Even if you just show for moral support, please come to the matches. I am not sure how good of a team that Quarantine is so come prepared to do heavy battle. It would be nice to start off our season with a win!

In other news I added a couple of things to the site. I added a link to the Subspace Manual site on the menu bar. This is the most comprehensive guide to Subspace that I have read. If you know someone who is interested in maybe starting Subspace, then send them to this site! I also added some new shipsets and graphics to the Sound&Graphics section of the site. The newest additions are made by OneI. I tried the ships and icons and bombs out and the ships are terrific. The icons and bombs are a little difficult to see though. But the ships are a must! Download them and try them out, you won't be disappointed!

We have 2 matches coming up this weekend. In United League it is our first playoff game of the season vs. Shaved Monkeys. The time has not yet been confirmed but will most likely be on Sunday between 3-6 pm ET. I will post the actual time as soon as it is official. In Amateur League we have our first regular season matchup vs. Quarantine. This match is not confirmed yet either but will most likely be on Sunday between 3-6pm ET. I will make sure the matches do not overlap each other, so don't worry ;). As soon as I get the times for these 2 matches confirmed I will post the times here and on the text scroller applet to the left(also I will email you all as usual).

Thanks to all my amleague players out there for showing up to practices and playing hard. We are getting better guys, it is definitely showing :). Keep up the good work and attendance, it is important.

The match times and match results for both AmLeague and UL will be posted from now on, in the little text scroller applet on the left hand menu bar. So check that every week to see updates and such.

We have the option of playing a match in AmLeague either this weekend or the following. Since it is already so late in the week, and I don't want a scheduling hassle and us get stuck with a bad time, I have chosen to play our first match not this weekend but the following. So be ready for the season start. Lets get some more practice in before that first match.

Verio Server - hedcase1 [March 21, 2000]

About 7:30pm est tonight, AM League and Hockey Zones were forced to shutdown due to some 'irregularites' at the time. Ghost Ship was going to bring them back online later this evening, however, was not given a chance to as both Chaos Zone and Pro League were both also knocked off the billing server and could not reconnect to the billing server. Just a few minutes ago (1:15 am est), the whole server was knocked out or shut down.

It is suspected that someone has attacked the Verio and completely knocked off all zones from the billing port and then attacked the server itself. Currently, it is not known in what shape the server it is nor is it known how long the server will be offline. Ghost Ship is trying as hard as he can to get it back up and running, but so far no luck.

Currently, the new AM League Season slated to begin this weekend will be postponed unless the server somehow gets back up and is thoroughly cleaned and fixed in time..

Stay tuned here for the latest updates and I will let you know the moment things get fixed...

Due to a couple of major things happening, I am forced to delay the start of AML by a week. I need more time to get the teams ready, and to setup a number of things (such as divisions/scoremaster). Sorry to all those teams who have been waiting for the season to start.

This means, I plan for the season to start during weekend of Mar 25/26.

The Official AmLeague season begins the weekend of March 18 :) It's about time don't you think? :P Here is some info directly from the AML site.

AM League II will begin the weekend of March 18/19!! I will not wait for Pro League any longer when they are estimating another 3-5 weeks before their new season begins and that is too long for us, so we will go ahead with out them. So mark that down on your calenders ladies and gents! Two weeks from now. Not this upcoming weekend, but the next!!!

So there you go...looks like we had better get a couple more good practices in before we play our first match. We have had some really fun practices the last few weeks so please come and join us in amleague. Remember, Mondays and Thursdays@11pm ET are our practice times. I will let you know who our first "official" amleague opponent will be as soon as the time is set.

Now, concerning UL, I don't really know what to tell you. Their site hasn't been updated in over 2 weeks and the last playoff start time was postponed until the following weekend due to server problems. As far as when playoffs are going to start, I do not know. I will let you know as soon as they announce it on UL site.
