May I offer one minor correction though? In the EDIS family you have:

1. John Edward Edis 1849 - 1925 #5868 aged 76, wed 1873 #2734 to Martha Saunders 1850 - 1942 #25418 aged 92, daughter of Jane Gary and Thomas Saunders, and lived at Toolamba.

In fact Martha SAUNDERS was the daughter of Jane WHITE and Thomas SAUNDERS, who married in 1836 in Oxford. Jane was the widow of John WAKEFIELD when she married Thomas, and they arrived on the "Wallace" in 1844. For some reason I've never worked out, Martha's 1942 death certificate does list her mother as Jane GARY, but this is wrong. Perhaps because Martha outlived her siblings by so long everyone had forgotten the real story?
