James McRostie aged 23 so born 1835, son of James McRostie and Margaret Buchan, wed 24 May 1858 at the Presbyterian Church manse, Castlemaine to Lucy Crowhurst 1840 - 1928 #12541, died at St Arnaud aged 88, daughter of Henry (called James in Lucy's burial record) Crowhurst and Susan Turner. James signed his name, and Lucy put X her mark. The children Henry and James appear to be not registered, then 8 children were born at Stuart Mill.

That detail is from her death index entry.
Following a query concerning Hannah being a daughter of Mary Goldsworthy, I have searched for her birth. The nearest entry I found is for
STONE, Ann Maria born to Father: Thomas, Mother: Mary Nicholls at Bendigo, Victoria, in 1870 #19606.
Two other daughters are registered, Eliza 1865 born at St Arnaud, and Emily 1868 at Bendigo
As Hannah's birth year is estimated from the stated age at death, a birth at the end of 1870 fits with a death before her 67th birthday.

I thought that I would point out a few small mistakes in your imformation and I hope that you will not take offence.

James McRostie was the son of Peter McRostie and Janet CRAM.

Peter McRostie was from Laggan , Perthshire and Janet was of the Parish of Monzieviard , Perthshire and thier marriage was listed for proclamation on 27 July 1793.

Peter and Janet had 2 sons:

James McRostie : christened 8 June 1794 , Comrie , Perthshire
John McRostie : christened 8 April 1796 , Comrie , Perthshire

Peter McRostie married for a 2nd time on 14 June 1799 in Comrie , Perthshire . His second wife was Margaret STEWART from the Parish of Monzieviard , Perthshire.
