Whimpey Joseph Whimpey c1820 - 6 May 1902, arrived in Victoria about 1845, with Margaret Price c1825 - 31 Jul 1901 and the children were then baptised at St James Church, Melbourne. The family went to South Australia, where Arthur and Eliza were born, then returned via Camperdown (Sarah born) then Castlemaine where Isaac was registered. He supported the family by working as a Miner and a Shoemaker, and served also as a Methodist Church Preacher
