Michael Wesley-Smith

Brief Biography

Michael was born on 2nd December 1983. He currently lives in Wellington, New Zealand with his family. Michael has starred in many Radio productions such as 'Yellow Bird' and 'The Baby Farmer' for Radio New Zealand (see filmography for more information). He also starred in 'The Legend of William Tell' for Cloud 9. He took Drama for 4 years in School and did numerous drama courses. He started acting at aroung the age of 10 when he accompanied his sisters to an audition for 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and was persuaded by his mother to also audition. He landed the part of Charlie and has acted ever since. He attends an all boys school (unfortunately I can not give out the name for security reasons apparantly), but i can tell you he's left handed, and his fave subjects are chemistry and PE. :-)

He currently stars in the hit TV show "The Tribe" as Jack and as Giles in "Atlantis High".

When I asked Amy Morrison (Zandra) about why she thought Mike was so funny off screen, she said: "Mikey kept messing up his hair. And they yelled out "Michael stop touching your hair" It was so funny."

He signs his name Mike on autographs.

He has to wear a school uniform as the school.

His school are supposedly annoyed that one of their students has orange hair.

His mum and dad are both doctors.
