Hi! In case you do not know my name:) it is Melissa.
The LORD layed very heavily on my heart to create this page,
and the LORD has a reason for everything.
I always OBEY the Lord and what he asks of me.
I live each day as if it were my LAST,
because we just NEVER know.
If I had to FACE the Lord Jesus at the throne today,
what would he say to ME?..

Since my Christian walk seriously began in 1997, I have always loved sharing my Love of Christ and the Lord with others and just what HE has done for me in my life, praying that if someone does not know Jesus, they WILL accept him into their hearts and begin their Christian Walk.

The END of time is going to come, and we NEED to make sure
WE ARE READY.

Our God is a Loving, Merciful, and Forgiving God.

I Magnify his Holy Name on the net and off the net.

Honor and Glory to God
for giving me the strength and the courage and boldness!
Honor and Glory belong to him.

There is no God who is like thee.. who is Faithful, Pure, and Holy.. of your Mercy and Your Power.. there is no end. I will worship you Lord!

Holy is Your Name.

MARK 16:15-'He said to them,
"Go into all the world and
preach the good news to all creation.'

CORINTHIANS 1 12:6- And there are diversities of operations,
but it is the same God that worketh in all.

PSALM 23:1- The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

EPHESIANS 2:4,5- But God, who is rich in Mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

MATTHEW 6:21- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

JOSHUA 9:1- Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:
for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

PETER 1 3:8- Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

LUKE 18:20- Thou knowest the commandments,
Do not commit adultery,
Do not kill,
Do not steal,
Do not bear false witness,
Honour thy father and thy mother.

I DO DEDICATE THIS PAGE TO MY LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.

It is important that you know I have not "Always been this way". It has taken almost 4 years for you to see the person that I am on this page.

I hope and Pray that if you can relate to some of these things in your life, and your own walk as a Christian that you will know that you are not alone. You CAN achieve anything that you set your mind to, with the help of the Lord. I relate this page as my Personal Walk stating God's Word and the things I have learned and overcame, because that is just what this page is. I am not Preaching, and I am not Perfect. I would NEVER intentionally hurt anybody. I do not judge others for what they choose to do in their lives and how they choose to walk their own walk. We are ALL different, and the Lord knows this. I need to be focusing on my OWN faults and NOT those of others, however, we can HELP each other in our walks. There are so many different people, and the Lord wants it that way. We can not all be the same! No-one is the same, and I believe we all are suppose to be separate people that are all brought together in the "Name of Our Lord Jesus". There are so many Bible Versus, to be honest, I love them all. I know that all of the Holy Bible has to be applied to my life, but for this page I was led to create it was these versus that needed to be used. We should not be in aguements over the Bible and how we as ourselves see it, but we should be following Jesus and have Love, Compassion, and Never Ending Giving that comes right from Jesus to our own heart and into someone else's heart to help them. We all have sinned, and made mistakes and most of us "some time or another" have backslid. NO mistake we have ever made is bigger than God's power to fix it. NOTHING is bigger than God's power to fix. God can take ANYTHING and turn it around for OUR GOOD. God does NOT create junk! I do hope you leave here with a sense of Peace and Love. I am a HAPPY and JOYFUL Christian. We ALL should be, because we know that we have Inheritance with Our Lord,
and he maketh our cup runneth over!!
Now thats something for ALL of us to be Happy about:)

ACTS 20:32- And now, brethren, I command you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and give you an inheritance, among all them which are sanctified.

PSALM 23:5,6- Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest thy head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

PSALM 118:6,7,8- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The Lord taketh my part with them that help me:
therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

LUKE 6:37- Judge "not, and ye shall not be judged:
condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:
forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

It is VERY important that you know I have not "Always been this way". The Lord is the one who I Thank, because he MADE me this way. It has taken me almost 4 years to share this testimony on a web page. I have shared a few times with some who I have met through this site and became personal friends with. Maybe not the whole story but much of it. I did not want others to think I was lying, or that I was crazy. I knew my Family Members would not think that, and the people who know me in my life off of the net. As you may know, I was adopted and I always wondered "WHY" deep in my heart. My Brother was my Parents Biological Son. They adopted me when I was 3 days old, because they were told my Mother could NOT have any children. I believe the reason WHY I was adopted by them has came to pass for me in my life. I do Love them VERY much, and my Brother was, in my eyes, My Real Brother. We got closer as we got older. My Adopted Mother shared with me, when I was younger, that she almost died as a teen in a canoe drowning, and she heard the most wonderful, peaceful music like bells, and she did not want to be saved from the water. I didn't think much about it when she told me, but after my Brother passed away I sure did. That has helped me deal with alot of what I saw. Knowing it is not just something I wanted to see. I don't believe that. All of my sharing IS what I saw and what I encountered.
I was also taken to "Hell" at the age of 17. At that time that is where I would of been if I would have died. I had an out of body experience that I will NEVER forget. It was in the middle of the night, and I was floating above my and my husbands body. I could not do anything to stop it. I was in a place of bright red FIRE ALL around me. I let it go and did not think about it, until after my Brother passed away. I do believe the Lord wanted me to see that and at that time I ignored it. Now after this, at age 30, I can NOT ignore either encounter I have had. I just can't.
If I don't share my Testimony with you now,
I am NOT obeying the Lord.

There are two times the Lord's Hand HAS held me, when I had No-one else. I DO BELIEVE the LORD can be ANYWHERE he wants to be at ANYTIME. The first time is the night of my Brothers Crash. When My Brother passed away from a tragic crash September 11 of 1997, It happened so fast. I did not know what was happening. My Mother lay ill in a hospital; she had cancer and had gotten very ILL after her surgery and was put on a ventalator. She just got out of the ICU the day of the night My Brother, Mike, passed away. My husband and I lived in NC at the time, and we were home to see her, because we did not know if she would make it. We thought..we were going to lose her- well it turns out- that we lost my Brother instead. I had a week with Mike I would not of had, if my Mother had not been sick. We would of NEVER been home to Ohio from NC. Mike shared with me 1 day before he passed away, on the way home from seeing our Mother, that he learned so much from Mom being sick, and he was going to get back into church. I thought that was wonderful, even though Mike backslid, he still had a special way about him and always was making other people feel so special. He was just NOT fully living for God and in HIS word daily. Well, as you can see, Mike NEVER made it back to church. When we got the call, about the crash, my Dad answered the phone. I will NEVER forget, as he hung up the phone, he looked at me and said, "it's Mike" I said "on the phone?" Knowing in my heart and soul what he meant..he passed away not even a mile from our home, and we heard the sirens go by before we even got a call. For some reason, I could NOT bring myself to go to the crash scene, and I do not know why. My Dad went alone. I sat on the front porch. We also live right across from the emergency center in our small town, and I seen the firetruck come in to sit at the end of the drive, which means a helicopter was coming in to life flight. Then I panicked and really could NOT breath. I went to my back yard and do not have any idea why..I was numb, and I looked at the sky and knew..Mike was gone. I said oh Dear God, please no...please and this light shown down SO bright. I could see nothing around me, and I could hear nothing. Everything was totally blacked out but the light. I said, if this has to be PLEASE help me get through this, knowing I was all my Dad was going to have at that very time. "Mike was in Jesus loving arms"..If this was an Angel of God's, Thank you, for letting me see what you did. Thank you...
I went back to the front yard soon after and seen my Dad coming for the driveway, and I was at the end of the drive (I knew the answer already) My Dad said, "Hes Dead" and walked away. I hit the drive for only a second. I found myself getting up and going through so much to get things in order, mostly in my brain. I know what I saw. I still was so shocked and in disbelief. I pushed it away and did not allow it to resurface, until a few months after Mikes death. Others were reading grief books, and I was reading about encounters with the Holy Spirit and trying to understand and make sense of what I had saw. It really made a Believer out of me and fast! When I had no-one else to turn to, no-one else was there, my walls were closing in,
Jesus Christ, the Lord helped me.

I was beginning to suffer from SEVERE depression a few months after his Death. Even though I KNOW the Lord had always been there, I just could NOT grip ALL that had happened. I was trying to piece all of these things together myself, and I was grieving for the Loss of my Brother. I was just not piecing things together as well as I thought that I could, myself.. Things had thrown my world for a loop before, but NOTHING like this. I knew in my heart and in my mind I had a Family to care for, My Parents needed me, Mike's daughter Alexis needed me, her Mother, Mike's Friend and His Family needed me. I felt so many people needed me, and I could not let anyone down. But it was all I could do, at one point, to get out of bed and to keep from crawling in my closet and hiding. I was just wishing I were not here. I felt it was all unfair, and I was angry and hurting. I kept thinking and saying so many get second chances to change and correct things, Why didn't Mike? Mike was once a full going Christian, and was the Leader of the Youth Group at Church. He was Saved/He did backslide. I know he was held Accountable for this, by God, and he had to answer for it. I also know He Was Forgiven by God's Mercy. Mike took a ride with the
Devil's Ways, and Mike, in a split second, Lost His Life.

I felt alone, and I had no-one I could really talk to. I knew no-one knew how I really felt all the way inside of my soul. My husband kept working, but he was really worried about me and just didn't know what to do. We lived miles away from home at the time of Mike's death. Both of our Families were far away. I was not going to tell my Parents about any of this, because they were hurt enough. I had finally quit my job as a waitress at a Moose Lodge. I once had loved people, and I didn't even want to be around anyone anymore. I knew something was REALLY wrong. I could hardly cook a meal for my Family. I didn't even want to eat a piece of bread. I was getting ready to ask my husband to please take me to the doctor, and I remember this as if it were yesterday, and it is now 4 years later. I was laying on my bed, and I said, "Lord Jesus, are you still there? Please HELP me"...I am no longer who I once was, and I have lost my will to live. I hurt, I am mad, I'm upset, and feel my walls are closing in so tight around me I can't breath. You know, ever since I said that to the Lord Jesus with MY heart, I felt something begin to move in me and speak to my heart and soul and HUG me and tell me at that time what I NEEDED and HAD to do. I believe the Lord was waiting on ME to CALL on HIM. (He loves us so much and so MANY times we push him away) I had to get into Church, and I had to make meaning of what has happened and do the right things in God's eyes. He NEEDED me to help others become saved and know him. The Lord knows when we hurt, and he wants so much for US to cry to him. He wants to help US so much. He understands all of your feelings, and he cries WITH you. He just wants to be your HOPE. I asked God for some time, but I promised him I would soon begin what HE asked of me and for him to mold me into what he wanted me to be, because I really was not sure. I know he HAS done that, and HE gave me a heart for people who are lost and unsaved and low in their Faith. I HAVE to share my Love for Him and Pray for others to find him, before its to late. We are NOT praying to no-one when we pray, we are NOT giving Thanks to no-one, we are not reading God's word for nothing, he IS there and he IS real. I never thought I would be a full going Christian. My life was once a mess, and I never thought...I would be in a holiness church, but there I am, dancing, singing, and clapping my hands together for Our Lord Jesus. I am learning more about him everyday as I read my Bible and strive to the best that I can with what he has given me to do. I KNOW we ALL have special gifts. The Lord needs MANY vessels doing many different things. He gives us ALL a "gift" when we open our hearts to him ALL the way and allow him to USE us fully.
Jesus HAS shown me the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. I am so Thankful for that. I Thank him to this day, and I always will Thank him for saving me from something that could of turned out to be awful in my life. The Lord also sent me a wonderful online Mom "Dot" that was there when I needed her most. I was not online right away after Mike's Death, but there this Mom was waiting for me when I got a computer
and went online.
I TRUST the Lord
knew what he was doing when he
Called Mike to come home.
I KNOW HE is a
Loving and Forgiving God
and has
NEVER ENDING Mercy on OUR souls.
We are ALL going to FACE the Judgement Day.
I know how it feels to feel like this. No matter what kind of situation you have faced or are facing in your life, whether it is Death or something else, JESUS CHRIST the LORD CAN HELP you and HEAL you,
if you ALLOW him to.
It hurts,
but it can be done with
Time, Love,
Patience, Praying, and Trusting
IN the Lord God Almighty Above.

JOHN 14:6- Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

FOOTPRINTS:
The Lord replied, "My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

We are ALL here by Gods will. He knew us before we were even born. He PLANNED our birth and created us. When we strive to follow the path that God has laid out for us, life is wonderful, and we are fully Blessed. If we get off track, God is right there when we are WILLING to get back on the track. He's waiting for ALL of us!
GOD LOVES ALL of HIS CHILDREN.

JEREMIAH 1:5- I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;
and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee,
and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

When the Lord knocks on our door, we have to let him in. He will not push himself on any of us and repeatedly come to us. We must be WILLING and ALLOW him into Our Hearts and into Our Lives. The Lord can come to us through many different ways, when he does,
Please heed your call.
This IS serious; The Lord is looking for vessels,
and he wants to USE US.
We will be set for life when we give our hearts
and believe what he has done for us.
What we have here on earth will NOT be going to Heaven with us. Material possessions should NOT matter to us. We need to be focusing on things NOT of this world, but rather, OUR eternal life with the Lord.

REVELATION 3:20- Behold I stand at the door, and knock:
if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with me.

REVELATION 22:12,13,14- And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every many according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

HOSEA 10:12- Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in Mercy;
break up your fallow ground:
for it is come to seek the Lord,
till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

God is always with us, and he has NOT left us here to fight OUR Spiritual Battles alone, by Ourselves. If you will please read
Ephesians 6:10-18
You will know HOW to be able to fight your battles
and STAND against EVIL using GOD's WORD.

I don't like to talk about let alone THINK about the Devil, Satan. He's under my feet! However, it is a TRUTH, the Devil IS going to TRY to attack anything he can in OUR lives, when he thinks HE CAN. He is also the MASTER of Our Faulty thoughts, DRAGGING up our PAST, and making us DOUBT Ourselves and NOT feel Worthy. That's why it's important to know HOW to be able to fight the Devil, using God's word and Our Faith. NOT allowing ourselves to give INTO his bait. Stay strong and in the Lord! He always HAS bait and is going to TRY to get US to believe things that are NOT true. He knows what OUR weaknesses are, and he WILL TRY to get US to fall.
BE AWARE (NOT Devil "CRAZY" just be AWARE)
Satan can also transform himself into an Angel of Light so be careful and make sure what you are doing and saying or what you are going to do or say is Loving and out of the Word of God and is NOT going to
create hurt and chaos.
"God IS of Love".
The devil IS out to:
Seek, Devour, Destroy and Kill.

Luke 4:8- And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God,
and him only shalt thou serve.

CORINTHIANS 2 11:14- And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an Angel of light.

Of course, we ALL MUST Believe! We ALL MUST have Faith. Things will happen in your life. The Lord will MOVE, when you BELIEVE with a Open, Humble Heart, and with your Faith,
Something which you can not see, but it is there, and it is eternal.

JOHN 3:16,17- "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through Him might be saved."

CORINTHIANS 2 5:7- (For we walk by Faith, not by sight:)

Line

I have found a few areas that I really struggle(d) with but as the Lord has helped me along I have now learned that areas in our walk don't have to be hard, and they don't require alot of work to overcome. In reality.. just alot of Prayer and help from the Lord. We can STAND tall in anything that comes our way, when our eagles wings are mounted and flying steady at ALL times, instead of soaring up and down. We can be in even keel with the Lord. Without trials, and things to overcome, we would NOT grow in the Lord. I do believe their HAS to be a balance in our lives. The Lord wants us to ENJOY the Blessings HE HAS given to us, and he wants us to create a happy balance in our lives. So make sure you have some fun and enjoy life. We just have to make sure we are NOT addicted to anything other than the Lord and UNGodly things. We all have times that we need time for ourselves, and that is Ok. The Lord understands and does NOT expect us to run ourselves down and ALWAYS look out for others
{ other people have to want and be willing to change themselves and help themselves also}
Without first taking care of ourselves.
If we ourselves don't feel good and refreshed,
how will we help anyone else
and be the BEST person we can be to them...

LUKE 3:5- Every valley shall be filled,
and every mountain and hill shall be brought low;
and the crooked shall be made straight,
and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

ISAIAH 40:31- But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strengh; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.

I do know that as we grow in the Lord that we become more and more Mature. Christian Maturity comes with the time we spend with the Lord, the time we spend reading the Bible, the time we spend being Fed the Word of God, with life experiences, and age. We can NOT expect ourselves to be the "Perfect Christian". For one thing, there is NO such thing as a "Perfect" human, but we can grow and advance in HOW we handle Ourselves and Situations that we are in. Mostly in Our Hearts and the Words that we speak. Also how we Act and Behave towards others. Going to church is VERY important and wonderful, but I don't think it is ALL of what being a true Christian is about. We can be in church 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and wear Christian jewlery, and etc. but if we are NOT seeking God in our HEARTS and in our ACTIONS, then I don't believe we are fully understanding all of the things of God. We must reflect LOVE to ourselves and others and realize that humans have feelings. Whether we are right or wrong in situations. It's easy to criticize others and criticize things, but we should NOT be doing this in church or anywhere else. God does NOT want us to be used or hurt, but no matter what has happened, we MUST handle things correctly and with LOVE. I believe God wants US to take Responsibilty and be Accountable for our Actions, Words and even our Money, and how we handle trials and situations that are going to arise in our lives here on earth. God wants US to know the PROPER way to handle things, and God is of LOVE. We CAN'T just run around and do and say "Whatever" we please and NOT have to be Accountable and Responsible for that. Sometimes NO words are better than words. If we can NOT be nice and loving, then we don't need to say anything at all. Rather, we should PRAY about it. We ARE going to have squabbles and misunderstandings as Family, as Friends, and as Humans. Holding grudges and being angry at each other is NOT going to help. If it were your last day on earth (and we NEVER know) you should be at Peace with ALL in your life. We should NOT be out to hurt each other, spread lies, and make lies up about others that are NOT true. Talking about others in a way that is cruel and heartless, and we KNOW will hurt them, is in my eyes, just uncalled for and NOT of love. In the Lords eyes it is "wrong" . We are EACH special in our own way and in the sight of the Lord. We should Cry with, Support each other, Pray for each other. We should be Happy for each other, and Love the Blessings the Lord has given to us, NOT wanting what someone else has and being jelous and envious. Making Peace with someone and Keeping Peace with someone are two different things. We HAVE to make Peace and Love others (Agape Love-Love for ALL of Mankind) and Forgive, but No-one is forced to like you or remain in your life as we also have the same choice with others. NOT everyone is going to like us; no matter how HARD we try. It is such a WASTE of our precious time trying to make someone like us and remain in our life, but DON'T worry about that. Keep your eyes on the Lord. It is between YOU and GOD anyways and NOT between YOU and OTHER people. The PROPER ORDER where our priorities are to be in this life is:
*God*, Your Spouse, Your Children, Your Family, Your Job, Other People.
We Begin to grow in time, and we don't EVER stop growing. If you reflect back in your walk, I am SURE you can see the areas that you have grown in. Its a GOOD thing to reflect. Thank God for your growth and how you have changed. See the NEW you for what you really are:)

PETER 1 2:2,3- As newborn babies, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

THESSALONIANS 2 2:3- We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

CORINTHIANS 1 15:10- But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me upon me was not in vain:
but I laboured more abundantly than they all:
yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

PROVERBS 14:17- He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly:
and a man of wicked devices is hated.

PROVERBS 15:1- A SOFT answer turneth away wrath:
but grevious words stir up anger.

PROVERBS 10:7- The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked will rot.

PROVERBS 18:24- A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

PROVERBS 17:17- A Friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity.

MATTHEW 5:9- Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God.

ROMANS 14:13- Let us not therefore judge one another anymore:
but judge this rather,
that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion
to fall in his brothers way.

COLOSSIANS 3:12,13- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness, of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another,
if any man have a quarrel against any:
even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Sadly... and its with a SAD heart I have to write this, and we are not to concentrate and focus on things of Fault, but we need to be AWARE of these things that can happen, on and off of the net. I have LEARNED some valuable lessons from God about this. Most of us know that all people are NOT always who and what they say they are--- they lie. People who have this kind of intention can be very GOOD at fooling others. When we are hurting and weak, this can be a good time for someone to mislead, fool, and hurt us. This can happen to anyone though. I think we should all be just who we say we are, and who we show ourselves to be not putting on a act, or being someone we are not. I'm sure the Lord feels this way also. Just because we are a Christian, does NOT mean we are to remain in the Lives of others that Hurt, Use, Mistreat, and Abuse us.
We should NEVER use God's name in vain. When we accept or claim something true in the name of Our Lord Jesus, it NEEDS to be true. I have a lot of trouble understanding people who show themselves to be something and then they turn out to later be something else or have mischief in their heart
and never having a good intention.
This is where "RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT" comes into Our Lives and Our Christian Walk. We have to USE JUDGEMENT when we are dealing with others who are displaying "Downright Evil Behaviors".
Others need to PROVE themselves to be who they say they are.
TRUE COLORS always show through one way or the other.
~However~,
Most people are who they say they are,
and we should ALWAYS give someone the benefit of the doubt
and believe they are who they say they are. I always do, But, we do need to be careful NOT to allow anyone to mislead us on our Faithful Walk with the Lord Jesus, or tell us things that are NOT of the Word of God, or make US doubt ourselves, or are ALWAYS concentrating on Faulty things, and please don't allow anyone to make you NOT feel worthy of ~Gods Love~
~We DO keep our hearts open~
~EVEN after something like this may happen~
~We are just MORE careful, and alert~.
~Church is the BEST place to receive your full teaching~
~of the Word of God~
God knows this kind of situation,
HE will "Protect Us",
~and HE will deal with those doing these things~
but he also WARNS US of this very thing.

EXODUS 20:7- Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

PROVERBS 12:22- Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly, are his delight.

MATTHEW 5:44- But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

MATTHEW 7:15- Beware of False Prophets, Which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

CORINTHIANS 2 11:13- For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

PROVERBS 19:5- A false witness shall not be unpunished,
and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.

MALACHI 3:18- Then shall ye return,
and discern between the righteous and the wicked,
between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

JOHN 7:24- Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgement.

MATTHEW 7:16- Ye shall know them by their fruits...

LUKE 11:21- When a strong man armed keepeth his palace his goods are in peace:

~The Lord, Not another person, is the one who gives us convictions, and disciplines us when we do wrong, and he sees fit, because He Loves Us.

JOB 36:10- He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.

JEREMIAH 29:11- (King James Version) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil,
to give you an expected end.

This is something that has really been a large area of study for me. We know that we are not supposed to be Yoked together with Non Christians. We are not to be in fellowship with them.

The word Yoking together to ME has a meaning of-

Yoking together means just what it says. We are IN someone's life, and we are in CONSTANT Communication with them,
and we are in Church with them.

Now on the net, this means something different to me. Since we really and honestly do NOT always know what we are Yoked together with, because as you read above and I KNOW this for a fact- anyone can say they are something and turn out to be something else.
I believe that on the net is where we AS Christians NEED to be the STRONGEST, and we NEED to be MOST alert.

Depending on how strong YOU are as a Christian, I believe is something else that plays a part in this verse. Is someone going to change MY mind about how I feel about the LORD JESUS and what I believe? The answer to that is a "NO" they are not. I am a strong Christian, with FIRM beliefs, and no-one would make me believe otherwise.

As you will see below, being married to someone and one of you becoming saved and beginning your walk with the Lord, AFTER the marriage, is different. It is then we should NOT leave one another, but if one chooses to leave the marriage because of non belief
then let him/her depart.

When we are young (A Teen) or unmarried at any age, or making our choice of Friends for a lifetime AS a Christian, we should be Yoked together with those who are saved and believe and are at or close to the same spiritual level that we are. When we have friends, and we become saved and begin our Christian walk AFTER we have been friends for a while, we should NOT cut those people out of our lives, because we do not judge others. They will HAVE to ACCEPT our new lifestyle, and either respect it and maybe want to change their life and become saved, or they will have to cut the ties with me, because I am NOT going to change. I am rooted and grounded in the word of CHRIST. We are not going to be wanting to make new relationships, or a marriage, or making CLOSE friendships,
to those who are not living as we are.

Spreading the Gospel (Evangelism) to those who are not living for the Lord and are lost and trying to help them become saved and live a Christian life is wonderful. We CAN , with God's HELP, bring someone along if they are willing and there is a right heart condition, and they are trying to change their lifestyle, and are showing a TRUE interest in what you are saying to them about becoming saved and living for the Lord Jesus and changing their life. However, becoming a PARTNER or "CLOSE" friends with them is something we should not do, especially if their is behavior that is just unacceptable.

It is really HARD to know, on the NET MORE so than anywhere, WHO we are being Yoked together with. So please be CAREFUL. If and when someone else begins to drag you down or makes you waver in YOUR Faith and Beliefs, then it is time to politely back away, take a breather, refresh and decide what is the best for you,
your life, and your walk.

CORINTHIANS 1 7:15- But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart.
A Brother and sister is not under bondage in such cases;
but God hath called us to peace.

CORINTHIANS 2 6:14- Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers:
for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness,
and what communion hath light with darkness?

LUKE 11:21- When a strong man armed keepeth his palace his goods are in peace:

I am sure we all know that being a Christian is NOT always easy. I used to hear that alot, but I never really understood what people were talking about-- Until I myself became saved and began my Christian life.
With GOD by your side and with Believing and Faith,
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with God!

LUKE 1:37- (KJV) For with God nothing shall be impossible.

LUKE 1:37- (GODS WORD translation) But nothing is impossible for God."

PHILLIPIANS 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

As we know, walking with the Lord and striving to do HIS WILL in our lives is not always easy. When things look hopeless and just impossible, know they are NOT! My Husband Bill and I have spent many years together, alittle over 12 years we have been married now, and we are ages 30 and 33. Sometimes, there can be a separation between you and your Spouse (or even a Family Member) of Faith and Believing. This is very hard to go through. When you are close to someone and have a true love for them, it can be very hurtful to have this feel like it is dividing you and your marriage. Most times no-one wants to leave the other by ending the marriage, and I dont think God wants this to happen either, at least NOT without trying, praying, and seeking Gods way in the matter above our own way. Marriage is very sacred in the eyes of God. We become ONE with the one that we marry. Husband is head of the wife
{ He's to love her, as Christ Loves the Church } and Christ is the head of the husband.
Unless there is Adultry or ABUSE,
then we must leave. Because no-one should be living in that dangerous, unhealthy situation. Ask God what he would have you do. There are marriages that work out, even after such things have occured. God doesn't like divorce and separation. He wants what he graciously brought together, to "Remain" together. Many times this "Spiritual" separation can come by what's inside of us and how we feel about ourselves. Of course, we know EVERYONE is worthy of Gods love. It just takes some longer to find that Peace and Everlasting Love in their own hearts, and their sense of feeling worthy. Everyone desires a Deep Relationship with God somewhere inside of them and their Heart, whether they "Show" it or not, they do. Don't give up on your Spouse, whether you are the Husband or the Wife. The best thing we can do, is Pray for our Spouse. BELIEVE that they will soon be walking in all the Love, Joy, and Peace that ONLY the Lord can give. It may be a rough ride, and it may not, but do not give up. Keep your walk with the Lord, and You keep Believing for the Lord to move in that situation, and he WILL, when the time is right. I know. Pray, Pray, and Pray some more about it. Remember, the Lord ALWAYS answers Prayers. It may not be the way we are seeking him to or as fast as we would like God to answer,
but he DOES answer them.

EPHESIANS 5:22- Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands,
as unto the Lord.

COLOSSIANS 3:19- Husbands, love your wives,
and be not bitter against them.

Wives and Husbands Peter 1 3:1-7

Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear. Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

Corinthians 1 7:10-17, 20

To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. To the rest I say this If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? Nevertheless, each one should retain the place in life that the Lord assigned to him and to which God has called him. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches. Each one should remain in the situation which he was in when God called him.

MARK 10:9- What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

MALACHI 2:16- For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the Lord of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacheroulsly.

PSALM 29:11- The Lord will give "strengh unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Reading my Bible is something that I LOVE to do. I read my Bible daily. Sometimes when I am walking by it, even if I am cleaning a room, doing laundry, etc.. I pick it up and open it to any verse and read it! I feel much better. Reading your Bible can be confusing at first. Maybe you don't really understand it. If you are saved, then reading your Bible will get easier for you. God wants to take you to levels of understanding, in what you read in his Word, that you can not even imagine! Pray for WISDOM, APPLY your heart to understanding, and CRY after knowledge. God WILL give you the Wisdom. The book of John is a good place to begin in your Bible. The Bible really does become like a real life book and things begin popping out at you left and right, and the Bible becomes VERY clear! Like anything else though, we MUST PRAY for Wisdom in understanding of what we are reading. We have to APPLY ourselves and be SEEKING to understand. We have to WANT to understand the Bible and spend time in God's Word. Staying in the Word and Reading your Bible is VERY important. Reading the Bible also leaves NO space for Negative Empty thoughts in your mind. It sure has helped me many, many days. I know Gods Word is the one thing that always will get me through anything this life has to bring my way and offer me.

PROVERBS 2:2-11- So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; if thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. he keepeth the paths of judgement, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgement and equity; yea, every good path. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

PROVERBS 19:8- He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

Praying to the Lord is wonderful!! Isn't it? :) Praying does NOT have to be "Fancy" or "Formal". Praying can be done anywhere, anytime!! God wants us to talk to him, rely on HIM to answer us, and fullfill our needs. He forgives us for ALL of our Sins everyday. I always ask for forgiveness each day. We ALL sin and fall short of the glory of God without even knowing it. There is NOTHING to BIG for GOD..NOTHING!! NO situation, illness, addiction, problem etc...He IS God! When you pray KNOW that Gods Word is going to perform in our lives! The verse below says WHEN we pray *BELIEVE* NOT when we SEE! RELY on Gods Word! He also loves to hear the Thank you's from us and Praising him for the Blessings we already have. Even Thanking him for this day we are still here. God knows all of our problems, before we even pray. I always start my praying for what I am Thankful for and for all of the Blessings God's already given to me. Praying for others is wonderful, but it is also fine to pray for ourselves. God wants to help us. Often times, I Pray as I am walking around or even cooking dinner. There are times I need my Prayer Closet. Praying is something that God wants us to do everyday. God hears you anywhere you choose to Pray, and he DOES hear you. He will answer your prayers, when it is time and in the right season. God knows what he is doing!! Remember, he ALWAYS hears your prayers, and they will get answered. It may not always be the way we, ourselves,
are looking for our prayer to be answered,
but our prayers WILL be answered!

MARK 11:24- Therefore I say unto you what things soever ye desire, When ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

PETER 1 2:24- Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:
by whose stripes ye were healed.

ROMANS 3:23- For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

PSALM 7:17- I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness:
and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.

~FASTING is something that can be done as a Family or by Yourself. It is bringing yourself to your lowest human denominator before the Lord. Of course, with children, they can not Fast the way we as adults sometimes may. They need to grow into being able to fully understand what Fasting is. I do believe our children need to Fast also to grow up to be stronger in the Kingdom of the God.
God's Word Says,
MATTHEW 4:4- Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

As a Family it should be something easy that your Children WILL be able to understand. Fasting for a Mission Group at your church or something like that. Everyone will sacrifice something they enjoy for the Fast. ( My Boys LOVE ice-cream) so they will not eat ice-cream for however many days the Fast is. When we Fast, as the Word says, we live not on Bread Alone. However, I do NOT believe that the Lord WANTS us to be unhealthy. Fasting for a number of days, could lead to that. Be careful and wise when you are Fasting.
When we Fast it needs to be something we like and enjoy. We are showing the Lord that we are sacrificing for him. My Family and I have just now began to Fast atleast one time a week.

ISAIAH 58:6- Is this not the fast that I have chosen? to lose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Forgiveness! This is a MUST. -I am sure- if you take the time to visit the rest of my web home, you will see this is something that I take very seriously. We MUST Forgive Others, if we want to be Forgiven for OUR Sins and wrong doings. Well.. then first we MUST Forgive others in OUR hearts. We MUST have (Agape Love-Love for ALL of Mankind.)
Sometimes, the Lord asks us to let the person we are forgiving know that we have forgave them. God may ask us to get into simple touch with them, or he MAY ask us to be in their lives again. Only God can lead you to do what he wants you to do in the situation. If you have time, please visit my pages on Forgiving through out my web home. Not only is Forgiving Others important but also Forgiving Ourselves.
This is the Lord Jesus' FREE gift to US, with NO strings attached. HE DOES forgive us - NO matter what. When we go to Our Lord with a Open, Humble Heart, and we are not repeating things we have done, and doing things we know are wrong, the Lord is always there to Forgive Us. All we have to do is ASK, and Repent of our Sins. HE does NOT hold onto what you have done, so please, don't hold onto things YOU have done. ASK for forgiveness, repent,
let them GO...
Just as God HAS.
To God and To me - Forgiving is so important.

MARK 11:25,26- And when ye stand praying, forgive,
"if ye have ought against any:
that your Father also which is in heaven
may forgive you your trespasses.
But if ye do not forgive,
neither will your Father
which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

PSALMS 86:5- For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive:
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

MATTHEW 5:44- But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Giving to the Lord and investing in HIS kingdom is going to open many windows for you. Windows that God wants to open. When you invest your time and what graciously belongs to God, which is something the Lord will help you along with, 10% of our earnings DO belong to God. You will learn all about this in your church. Of course the Lord will lay on YOUR heart what he wants YOU to be giving ,at the time, and what he wants YOU to be doing to sow your seed into good soil - the Lords Kingdom. You HAVE to be sowing something, to reap. He Will unlock the windows and give back to you more than you could ever imagine. He IS God!! Remember, God KNOWS your situation and what is going on in your life. If you can not give alot, God loves a cheerful giver. Investing your time could be something that you could do also- being a Greeter, Usher, Help in God's Ministry at your church. Anywhere that God leads YOU to help. OBEY! God WILL have YOU where he wants YOU to be. You WILL be Blessed, and GOD WILL give you the Blessings for your giving unto HIS Kingdom.
God loves a cheerful giver. :)

CORINTHIANS 2 9:7- Every many according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity:
for God loveth a cheerful giver.

LUKE 6:38- Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, for men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

MATTHEW 6:3,4- Jesus says, ??when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
?that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.?

Burdens!! This is something that I still continue to rely on God to help me alot with. I have a bad tendency to give a problem or situation to the Lord, and I find myself taking it back. As if I am bigger than God. I do not think so! My God Is Big!! I KNOW this. We SHOULD NOT MAGNIFY the problem and make it BIG, but rather, MAGNIFY the LORD - NOT the problem we are having. I tend to do just the opposite. I am working very hard in this area, and the Lord has brought me a long way. We DON'T need to carry these problems around, and we DON'T need the extra baggage. God wants us to RELY on him, and when we give something and take it back - it looks like we may not be relying souly on God to move in the problem or situation and do what is best. So I leave my burdens at the feet of Jesus' ,
and I WALK away.
God hears us.

ISAIAH 55:11- So shall the word that goeth forth out of my mouth:it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

MATTHEW 11:28,29,30- Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

PSALM 55:22- Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

Gods Timing and Not Ours! I am sure most of you know exactly what I mean by this. We are doing wonderful in our life and things are going very well. Well.. God has a different plan and wants things to be rearranged. Its best to not question God and just GO where he wants us...His ways are better than our human ways could ever be. He knows what he is doing, after all, he is GOD:) So ,I find, going along with God, even if I don't understand something, is the best way to go. God WON'T take you somehwere that he does not want you to be.
If he wants me there,
I have learned I better be on my way.

ISAIAH 55:8,9- For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

CORINTHIANS 1 14:33- For God is not the author of confusion,
but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Walking as a Christian is alot of work!! I know it is for me,
but I know God will NEVER leave me or Forsake me.
Be Thankful for what God is doing in your life and for what you have
and all that God has created and is creating you to be.
God will add to your Blessings, when you are seeking him
and doing HIS will.
When you are taking care of the Blessings
that he has already given to you.

( HEBREWS 13:5- Let your conversation be without covetousness;
and be content with such things as ye have:
for he hath said,
I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. )

NUMBERS 6:24,25,26- "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."

EPHESIANS 3:20,21- Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be the glory in the church by Jesus Christ throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Do YOU want to be living a Happy, Joyful Christian life? Do YOU want to be able to OVERCOME ANYTHING and be a STRONG CHRISTIAN!
In the NAME OF JESUS, we ALL CAN be living as
Strong, Happy, Joyful, Peaceful, Loving, Compassionate, Christians!

You do NOT need someone else to go to. All YOU need is the Lord Jesus, in YOUR heart and to be IN HIS WORD. KEEP your thoughts GOOD AND TRUE! He makes us have
Joy Joy Joy down in OUR hearts :)!

When we WANT to live this way, we CAN! We CAN be ALL we want to be with our Lord Jesus, and we do NOT need to rely on
ANY other human in this world to live this way!

What better Friend could we have than Our Lord Jesus:)
Have a Wonderful and Blessed Day!
Melissa

~Remember~

MATTHEW 5:6- Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

GALATIANS 6:7,8,9- Be not deceived,; God is not mocked:
for " whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
And let us not be weary in well doing:
for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

PSALM 119:9- (GODS WORD translation)
How can a young person keep his life pure? {He can do it} by holding on to GOD'S word. This verse above is good for young people, but, it's also good for people of "any" age. How are you going to make it in life at all?
It's by holding on to the Word of God.

John 14:27- Peace I leave with you,
My peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth
give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.

JOHN 6:37
Him that cometh to me
I will in no wise cast out
