We have been invited to have a Club Display on Shannan's Walk this year.
Daryl is organising this event and says that we need as many Modified Morris Minors as we can get to put on display to promote our cause.
We will have a maque and we will also need members support to help man the display... This will involve talking to the public about the club
(expaining what we're about) and handing-out flyers. Free entry will be given to members who put their HOT Morries on display.

SUNDAY 19th JULY... CLUB DISPLAY @ SANDOWN.....
Because of our successful display at the Phillip Island Classic earlier last year, we have been invited to put on another club display by
the organisers of round 3 of the State Racing Championship.
Our display will be situated on the main straight at Sandown, at the end of Pit Lane ( between Pit Lane and the Grand Stand).
We will need as many Modified Morris Minors as we can get to put on another interesting display.
We will have a maque, and will need members support to help man the display... this will involve talking to the public about the club
(expaining what we're about) and handing-out flyers.
The same deal as at PI applies, ie... two free entry tickets per car will be given to members who put their Modified Morries on display
These members will also be given a parade lap of the circuit!
NOTE: Only Morries with Historic Group N Logbooks are eligible to compete in this one, it's a good one to watch though!

Our winter meeting will be held as in the past at Harrington's Bakeries... 499 Canterbury Road, Vermont.
Start time is 8.00pm... This is always an interesting meeting, with a tour of the Bakery by our host 'Uncle' Lloyd Harrington.
We are hoping that we can get our host Lloyd to give us a talk on alernative fuels and his latest experiments in this interesting area.
The original Morris 'J' 'Bread' Vans will be on display, so don't miss this one.
Pizza will be provided by the Club, but is subject to the usual $2 Gold Coin 'club donation' for supper. BYO cold drinks and other snacks.
If there is time, we will have some video footage and informal discussion regarding past and coming events, etc...

Morris Modified Register meetings are held bi-monthly at three different venues through-out the year... The official Modified Newsletter is usually published to co-encide with these meetings. Modified Register events are also usually held once every second month.
