The is the hardest post I have ever had to make.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 18 — Dale Earnhardt, the seven-time Winston Cup champion and one of the most beloved stars in auto racing history, died Sunday from head injuries in a last-lap crash at the Daytona 500. He was 49.
I started watching Nascar racing seriously in 1998. I weep a tear or two when Dale Earnhardt won the 1998 Daytona 500. I have been a Dale Earnhardt fan since. Seeing Dale on pit road and dancing on his car will be a memory that will stay with me forever. The passing of Dale Earnhardt saddens me greatly. My sympathy goes out to the Earnhardt Family and friends. To all the employees at DEI and to you all of Dale wonderful fans. Keep Dale's family in your prayer. And God bless each and every one of you.
