Good Collies don't just materialize out of thin air. The following are a few of the dogs and bitches who have contributed directly or indirectly to Northuist Collies. BIS/BISS AM/CAN CH ALFENLOCH BEYOND DREAMS
(Ð)-Tart was an all-breed Best in Show Winner by 13 months of age, owner handled by Barry Hastings of Kaiteka Collies. She won numerous specialties in Canada, and finished her American championship in short order, handled by Debbie Holland. In her US debut she won her class at the Collie Club of America - the Open sable and white bitches, and shown twice as a special twice made the final cut for Best of Variety, including once as a veteran.








BISS CH ALFENLOCH OUT OF MY DREAMS
(Ð)- Teaka was BOB under Joan Graber at the first Collie Club of Canada National Specialty. Bred by Brian and Diane Fitzpatrick, she was owned by H. Barry Hastings and was the dam of BISS CH KNOCKOUT BY KAITEKA.







BISS CH KNOCKOUT BY KAITEKA
(Ð)- K.O. is one of Canada's top producing sires in the breed, and more than qualifies for his ROMX. He stamped his offspring indelibly, and his strong influence is easy to see even several generations later. He has produced both U.S. and Canadian champions, and obedience titled dogs. His influence in Canada can especially be felt here and at Virtu and Fonehill Collies. He was bred by Barry Hastings, Kaiteka Collies perm. registered. He is one of the most influential sons of Am Ch Asil Who's Who.






Token Suffragette TT, ROMX
(Ð)- Rebel was pointed in Canada, but her greatest contribution was through the whelping box at Janice MacDonald's Token Collies. One of her litters by the top producing AM/CAN CH CARNWATH'S BEAT IT! produced 6 champions. She is a Star daughter and the dam of Ritzi.








AM/CAN CH TOKEN'S PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ TT, HC, ROM (Ð)- Ritzi was a group winner on both sides of the border. She finished her US championship with a group win, handled by Debbie Holland. In Canada she had several Specialty Awards of Merit. She is the dam of several champions, and earned her ROM. She is pictured here going BOS under Judge Doris Werdermann at the Dominion Collie and Shetland Sheepdog club, Canada's largest and most prestigous specialty.




CH TOKEN SECRET RENDEZVOUS Roxanne finished her championship with three 5 point wins, breeder-owner handled. Her first litter, by her grandsire AM/CAN CH CARNWATH'S BEAT IT! produced 3 champions, our foundation bitch Reba who made history as as Saskatchewan's first ROMX, and only the second to earn this title from her first litter; Jasper, a lovely blue dog soon to make his US debut, and Julie, leased to Carnwath collies for a couple of litters. Roxanne is shown a few months after whelping this litter, going Best of Breed under Judge Betty McHugh.






CH TOKEN SUNNYGATE STAR ROM
,(Ð) Star was from a multi champion litter that produced the top winning BIS/BISS TOKEN'S THE MAGICIAN. Second Picture She was one of Canada's first ROMX Collies and laid the foundation for Gangway Collies. Bred to Carnwath's As You Please! she produced the top producing Rebel.Her influence spans more than 15 kennels in Canada, and 200+ dogs.







AM/CAN CH KAITEKA'S OUT OF MY DREAMS
-Taylor is one of the last producing offspring of BIS/BISS AM/CAN CH ALFENLOCH BEYOND DREAMS. He finished his US championship in limited showing with Debbie Holland. He has won BOS at the Collie Club of Canada under James Frederickson and was Veteran Dog under Dorothy Welsh at the CCC. He is a littermate to Kaiteka's Elusive Dream and a full younger brother to Madison.





(Ð)- BISS CH KAITEKA'S DREAM PRESENTATION, CD
- Madison was BOW and BPIB at the first Collie Club of Canada National Specialty under judge Joan Graber, and went on to win several other specialties as well. Handsome and versatile he has two legs on his CDX. He is a Tart son. Although we never did get a litter out of him or his younger full brother Taylor, they were fun to have around and enjoyed their stay with us, and would like their own couches and cats now.
