Officer Courses
    Bad Tölz

From the spring 1942 onwards Finns attended officer courses at SS-Junkerschule Tölz in Bad Tölz, Bavaria. Ritterkreutz holder SS-Standartenführer (Colonel) Fritz Klingenberg was the leader of these special officer courses for foreigners.

A total of 21 Finns graduated from the officer school from two courses. The Finns at the third course starting in June 1943 were called back to Finland in September 1943.

They were later called back to Finland and they had to break off their course after the Finnish Volunteer SS-Battalion was disbanded. Later Finnish Army top assault gun commander, Börje Brotell, is the second from right.
