This is my new page dedicated to 29 year old bull rider, Ty Murray. Ty Murray was a tough little cowboy from the very beginning. At the tender age of three, while most children his age were taking their first steps, Ty began riding calfs! While still a teenager, people where amazed that someone as young as Murray would go pro. At 23, Ty Murray was the youngest cowboy millionaire.
Ty was born in Arizona, but lives on his ranch in Stephenville, Texas. He enjoys lifting weights and tending to the retired broncs and bareback horses on his ranch when he's not riding and roping. Ty always finds time for fishing or barbecuing with good friends such as Tuff Hedeman and Jim Sharp.
Murray set the record of the highest earnings in a single season in 1993 by winning $297,896. He set also set the record for the most won in a single rodeo in 1993 by winning $124,821 at the NFR. Ty Murray tied with Tom Ferguson and Larry Mahan for the most World Titles for All-Around, and with just Ferguson for Consecutive All-Around.
Ty Murray has overcome many injuries (such as the ones to his knees and free-arm shoulder) and set-backs, but through it all, his dauntless spirit and determination have lead him to continue and become one of the finest bull riders ever.
