My Great Great Great Grandparents

This picture sat in one of our albums unidentified for years. One day looking through a microfilm of the book Heroic Willards of '76 I came across the same picture. The book was dedicated to her. There were several other photos that I was able to identify from the book. This is a good lesson.Don't throw those old photos away! Someday you may find out who they are.

Ruth Willard Wright was the daughter of Reuben Willard and Catharine Parkhurst. She was born July 7, 1775 in Dorchester, Massachusetts, married John Wright July 21, 1793 in Lansinbury, Rensselaer County, New York and died in September 1861 in Olivet, Eaton County, New York.
