OPR 240/1: Marriages
County of Aberdeen - Strathdon
revised 22 April 2005

Note: Much of the filming of this volume has two pages per frame. Frame numbers appear at the top of each page to help place the records  (e.g., 0180A=top of frame 0180; 0180B=bottom of frame).  The usual order would be 0179A-0180A-1079B-0180B-0181A etc.  This does, however, vary from time to time to make things interesting.

This volume is very hard to read - much of it is quite faded, in various archaic handwriting styles, and, in places, largely disintegrated.  So, even more so than usual, please take these transcriptions with a grain of salt and plan to check out the original yourself.  Particularly doubtful or illegible text appears in brackets.
