  • Charles Norfolk and Ethel Brunning, 1911 ".....and for several evenings toured the town looking for a house. Glancing down from high ground on the last evening he noticed that all the houses in Cemetery Road were lit up except one, number 156. Enquiries revealed it to be vacant and he was successful in getting the tenancy.
