James Bond. The Confidential Documents

"Nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest."
(The Bibl, Luke, 8, 17)

Certainly, we a little bit hyperbolized, calling this Chapter "X-files" or "Confidential Documents"! There is nothing, which coould be called "top secret" or even "secret". All the materials on our Web-site are written by us or our friends or quoted from books, magazines, newspapers. It was simply our willing to team up with the authors of Bondiana to creat the mood, suitable to the case...

The chance to make the absorbing journeys through different countries of the world and watching the scenes, where Q's "things" at the special moment save the agent's 007 life, are much more attractive for us in Bond's epopee, than the movie's plot itself, often written against the Soviet Union and Russia, or beautiful women around super-agent.

This is why first of all you will find on TDRUS N.Nosov's essay "Following the scents of a Man with the Golden Gun " - about the TDRUS expedition to Thailand, the story about the special department of MI-6, its constant leader for years - major Boothroyd, known simply as 'Q', and also about some fun things - inventions of Q, which were successfully used by famous agent.

For motorists and simply for the keen readers we recommend the article, written by V.Peskova, "With a Loaded Limo", about James Bond's cars, where you'll find separate Pages for the most interesting ones. Certainly, Aston Martin V8 is here, because you remember - Timothy Dalton drove it in the film "The Living Daylights". Due to Debra Best, who has given the article to us, we publish the story, written by Mark Ginsburg "00-Heaven" from English magazine "Vanity Fair", August 1987, where from our readers can know about the impression Timothy Dalton had during the driving legendary automobile. Sean Connery used another model of Aston - DB5, - in "Goldfinger" and in "The Thunderball". Roger Moore ran along the roads and swam under the water, using "Lotus Esprit". As for Pierce Brosnan, he used two models of BMW and... the same Aston Martin DB5!

We do hope, that the lavish illustrated Pages of our car's epopee will help you to discern better different "spy things", which you can only guess about, because the time you do usually watch them on the screen is measured with only the split seconds! Moreover, these Pages is another confirmation of the fact, that in Bondiana "the household" plays a part of "king" too. And this "household" is very ingenious and numerous and takes great care about the image of the hero, .... and certaimly - about its own one - too.

The special Page is dedicated to the actors, who played a part of Bond, to be more accurate - to the words, which the journalists write about the actors, who had a happiness to be as legendary superman 007, or may be - vice versa, - in Russian massmedia. The article "60 Minutes with the Agent 007", written by S.Latyschev, tells about the reasons Roger Moore was James Bond during 12 years - more, than somebody else. We hope, our readers will like it!

At last, in a little article we show Bondiana's souvenirs. Probably, somebody of you has already something like this in his or her collection. Anyway, something we mention here you can buy in the Net.
