The Intriguing Ones

VICKI FREDERICK
Vicki should have been a star. Pure and simple. She is beautiful. She can sing. She can dance. She can act. Possibly the only performer from 'A Chorus Line' with all of the above attributes. I feel sorry for her, and sorry for the directors, producers, moviemakers, etc, who ignored such a talent.

CAMERON ENGLISH
Another forgotten performer from 'A Chorus Line'. He was a star in this movie, dancing, singing, acting, but perhaps it was not enough. I believe that I have seen him in only one other movie- as a dancer in 'Death Becomes Her'. It is a very minor role...you can't really make out his face.

MADELINE KAHN
This performer had survived well in Hollywood, and hers is a name that usually inspires recognition. But her death, from ovarian cancer, deprives the world of an hilarious performer with a golden voice.

GREGG BURGE
I know Gregg was a success. Perhaps not in the movie industry, as I only saw him in 'A Chorus Line' (though he was a minor character in a few others) which is a shame, but he was a name on Broadway, and a star choreographer. However, he made this list due to his death, which makes me sad at the loss of such a performing talent.

JUDY KUHN
My all-time favourite vocalist, Judy is a star on broadway, and to those who know her work. But to popular mainstream society, she remains unheard of,despite the fact that she can shatter steel with her vocal cords.

PHOEBE CATES
This lady is Charm, personified. However, 'Shag: The Movie', 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High', 'Drop Dead Fred', and 'Princess Caraboo' failed to hypnotise the movie world, depriving them and us of a beautiful talent. Plus, the fact that she is HOTHOTHOT makes it seem even more unfair.
