Cheetor is a kid grown up. In the Beast Wars, he was the kid; the one looked down on as irresponsible and too headstrong, though utterly devoted to Optimus. In Beast Wars, he was the only person other than Megatron that had been an original, transmetal, and transmetal 2. In Beast Machines, he is far more grown up and is now second-in-command to Optimus Primal. His leadership is useful when Optimus is incapacitated, though Silverbolt initially doubts his leadership abilities.
