As the year is about to come to an end, the HK entertainment industry is still awaiting for the year's last piece of good news. Since mother-to-be Margie Tsang's due date is late December, friends and family have been calling her to ask if the baby has arrived. Apple Daily has also contacted Margie to ask if the baby is born. Margie happily replied not yet. She was then told that her baby may be the first baby to be born in the year 1999.

Margie was surprised and said that she never though of that before. Although she knows the gender of the baby she is still unwilling to disclose wheather is baby is a boy or a girl. This just makes everyone very curious, her friends have even started a bet on guessing the gender of the baby.

Last night one of Margie's best friend Chui Wai San was invited on Sandra Ng's radio talk show. They talked about their good friend Margie becoming a mother very soon. Chui Wai San said that she knows the baby will arrive in the next few days so she has been calling Margie every night to ask when she will go into labour. She even jokingly told Margie to hold back if possible so her baby can be the first baby to be born on Jan. 1st 1999.

Another of Margie's good friend, Sandra, has already knitted a sweater for the baby. She said the sweater is so beautiful, she may not want to give it up when it is finished!

Already 8 months pregnant, Margie rarely leaves her home and awaits for the baby to be born in late December.

Last night she was accompanied by her husband to appear on her best friend Sandra Ng's radio talk show. For the next 5 nights, Margie will co-host with Sandra as the program's special guest host. Her husband will accompany her each night as he is worried she may go into labour anytime.

Since the baby will be born in a month or so, Margie was asked many questions regarding her new arriving baby. She says she hopes to give natural birth and feed breast milk because it is healthier for baby. When asked if she knows if it will be a boy or girl, Margie says she wishes to keep the baby's gender a secret for now. However, her and hubby Stephen as already thought of the baby's name.

It has been a long time since she been out in the evening. Although she stays at home most of the time, she admits she rarely watches television beacause the quality of the programs are getting worse. Many times, she don't even recognise the actors as there are too many new faces. Out of all the new actresses, Margie admires Ada Choi the most because she has been watching Ada in "Healing Hands".

Margie had to miss out on her friend Veronica Yip's dinner party last night because she and hubby went to watch a musical play at the Hong Kong Coliseum. She was thrilled to be notified that Veronica is also pregnant. Margie had originally planned to have her baby in England but changed her mind to stay in Hong Kong instead, saying that there is just too much good food in Hong Kong. As to whether the baby is boy or girl, she will not tell yet because many of her friends have placed bets on the gender of the baby.

Margie Tsang was invited to be the MC for a campaign for fighting asthma. This is the first time Margie met with the public since news of her pregnancy broke out.

Maybe because she was wearing a black dress and because she has always been slim, Margie's stomach is only slightly bigger even though she is 4 months pregnant. Margie said that the pregnancy is not an "accident" and that she and her husband planned for the pregnancy since they have already been married for 2 years. She jokingly said that her husband wants a have baby so she would have less time to bother him.

For the sake of the baby's health, Margie takes a walk each morning and then eat bird's nest swallow (Yeen Wor). She claims that her appetite has decreased alot, she use to eat 2-3 bowls of rice each meal before she was pregnant. Margie said that she doesn't feel pregnant because her stomach is not yet very big and that she doesn't get morning sickness.

The reason Margie agreed to be MC is because her brother is the consulting doctor for the asthma campaign. Although her brother is a doctor, Margie does not want him to deliver her baby because she feels that having a baby is a very personal thing and it would be better if she asked another doctor to deliver the baby.

Because she haven't taken up the job of MC for a period of time, Margie's performance that day was not as good as before but the citizens still likes her and asked for her autograph. When asked if she will continue to work after she have the baby, Margie said that she never said that she quited so if the work is appropriate for her, she will accept the job offer.

Margie plans on having the baby in England and if everything goes as planned, she wants to have another baby in the next 2 years.

Congrats! Margie Tsang is already 3 months pregnant. That means by the end of the year, Margie will be the mommy of a little tiger boy or girl!

After her marriage to Stephen Lam in 96, Margie has slowly withdrew from the entertainment circle. Many people noticed that there's been a change in Margie's figure and wondered if she is pregnant.

Because she consider herself semi-retired and not part of the entertainment circle anymore, Margie asked her good friend Sandra Ng to disclose the news of her pregnancy to the media. Sandra Ng happily said that she will be the baby's godmothter because she don't plan on having any children.

When Margie secretly got married in England on April 25, 96, her wedding was emphasized with simplicity. She didn't even wear a wedding dress and did her own makeup while Stephen helped with her hair. The couple went to Italy, Swizterland, etc. for their honeymoon and then returned to HK on May 6 to pour tea for Stephen's mom and dad.

Stephen is a 38 year old businessman who studied management in England. Upon returning to HK, he started a styling product business which is now widely known throughout Asia. At just 22, his business was already thriving and successful. Everyone is happy that he and Margie are going to become parents.
