									I only bought the Episode I Jabba the Hutt for the two-headed announcer figure it came with; I couldn't stand the ridiculous face on the Jabba toy, so I decided to do something about it. Knowing I couldn't possibly make it any worse, I sealed up the hole in Jabba's mouth, covered the entire mouth area (as well as the areas above and below the eyes) with copious amounts of Tamiya putty, and got to work resculpting.
			After resculpting the eyelids for that half-asleep look Jabba has in The Phantom Menace , I repainted the whole face in various shades of yellow. I repainted the eyes, too, although they came out a little darker than I would've liked. I still intend to airbrush a little more green around the edges of the face -- as soon as I figure out how to use my airbrush, that is! Previous figure - Next figure - Back to index
									This is how the Jabba figure looked before I resculpted the head area, and you can clearly see why I decided to change it. Sure, he could spit a plastic frog head across the room, but how could anyone be expected to put up with that face?
