Virginia Dragschutz is a Missouri Artist. She was born in Kansas City and raised in St. Louis and has always been artistically active. She enjoys working with oil, acrylic, watercolor, and clay. She was also a teacher in these fields. Today Virgina has expanded her interests in the mediums of fused glass. She is fusing glass into jewellery, plates, gifts and wall art. Virginia has presented works in numerous local, regional and national exhibits. Some of her works are in private collections throughout America, England, Sweden, and Latvia. Some are in public collections as in St. Peters, Missouri's Art Collection on display in their City Hall. Virginia proudly served as the organizer of the annual Arts Happening for Kids program for the St. Charles County Arts Council and one of the Coordinators of the Katy Trail Event in St. Charles Co. Missouri. |
