More name dropping going on. This time from an unexpected source. SomethingPositive.net (an extremely funny comic) makes mention of Mr. Vin Diesel in its latest script.

Comingsoon.net reports that "Peter Dinklage will star opposite Vin Diesel in Sidney Lumet's upcoming courtroom drama Find Me Guilty, reports Variety. Produced through Bob Yari's Stratus Films Co., the story is based on the real-life trial of New Jersey's Lucchesi crime family, the longest Mafia trial in U.S. history. Dinklage will play defense attorney Ben Klandis, a sharp lawyer who befriends mobster Jack DiNorscio (Diesel). Dinklage will also be seen as a high school guidance counselor on the upcoming ABC series, Life as We Know It."

Ever wonder what happened to Vin's Dream Musical?
Variety.com reports that as far as musicals are concerned ""Guys and Dolls" is further down the pipeline. The announcement of the deal attracted speculation about some wild casting ideas (including Vin Diesel as gambler Sky Masterson), but all of that guessing seems doubtful and the new screen version is still awaiting screenwriter attachments."

It seems as though TimesOnline.com reporters are still looking for a replacement for our dear Mr. Diesel. Nigel Kendall, a reporter for the site, recently sat down with one Tamer Hassan, who states that "If Vin Diesel can get f****** $20 million then that’s what I’m after.” Personally we've had enough of these "I'm a poor boy plucked from the streets" stories...

In a recent interview with the-trades.com Maria Menounos recently stated that three of the friendliest actors are "Vin Diesel, Jim Carrey, and Reese Witherspoon."

Everyone wants to know if Vin will ever make the movie "Hannibal." For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Hannibal is the Carthaginian general who lead troops over the Alps long long ago, NOT the man who wants to eat your brains for dinner. The Concord Monitor reports on the Manhattan Film Festival. One of the short films being showcased this year is called "Rockfish." It summarizes as: "This is an action/adventure animated short set on another world where the big fish swim underground. Good thing our hero has brought some special high-tech gear."
The Concord Monitor also reports that "Vin Diesel has optioned the rights of the short film with a view to create a feature film from this short." Please tell us they are joking...

In The Hollywood Reporter Universal Studios vice chairman Marc Shmuger is quoted as saying "(it) didn't feel that it had organically grown to the size it was now presenting itself."

Which is all well and good since Universal didn't do anything to back this movie to begin with. (Just our opinion)

Gossip magazine "Who" tells us that "Vin Diesel's mastiff," whom we all know as Roman "has been dumped by the star because he is being sued by a scriptwriter who claims the mastiff "bit him on the scrotum".

Which is pretty much bs because Vin isn't the one being sued, the insurance company is. And what kind of man would give up his dog just because it bit someone.
