Il2 sturmovik (stormer) is one of the most important airplanes in ww2 on the eastern front (36,000 were produced),the german army called him "Schwarzer Tod" (Black Death) and the russians nicknamed him "flying tank". he was very hard to bring down and had very good fire power.
