Facts

  • We will find out something huge about Lily Potter in the seventh book.
  • One of the students will become a professor, but not Harry, Ron, or Hermione. (Neville means absent-minded professor in Latin, btw.)
  • The last chapter of book 7 is already finished and the last word of book 7 is "scar." (From theHPN)
  • Lupin will play a big role in the 7th book.

Rumors

  • Ron and Hermione date, but either find that they're not right for each other, or become soulmates. Harry and Hermione could get together as well. (could be in book 6)
  • The rumored titles for book 7 is Harry Potter and the Fortress of Shadows, Harry Potter and the Forest of Shadows, Harry Potter and the Chariots of Light.
  • Harry is the heir of Godric Gryffindor.
  • Headmaster Albus Dumbledore dies.
  • Harry and Ron both fall in love with Hermione and fight over/for her. (might be HP VI)
  • Harry could be related to Ron through his accountant cousin on his mother's side. After all, Lily Potter and the Weasleys' both have red hair.
  • Harry and Draco will be friends for a short time, but become enemies again after a major event. (After all, one of J.K. Rowling's favorite characters is Eustace from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. He is an unpleasant person who becomes good.) (book 6?)
  • Snape will fall in love. (ditto)
  • Pettigrew returns in books 6 and/or 7.
  • Hermione might be Head Girl in the seventh book. (J.K. Rowling was Head Girl at her high school and she says Hermione is essentially her.)
  • There are three registered titles to possible future HP books on the UK patent office trademark search: Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Fumat (Another possible book 6 title.), Harry Potter and the Chariots of Light, and Harry Potter and the Alcemist's Cell.
  • Harry will die :(
