Catfish Picture Page

Catching catfish in the tail water's of Dam's here in Western Kentucky can be both productive and great fun. This nice 25lb.Blue Cat was taken while striped bass fishing on a 4 inch live skipjack herring. The sides and gizzards of theGizzard shad are good bait along with Threadfin shad.

John R with a nice Flathead Catish. He caught this catfish on a live 5 inch gizzard shad. The Flathead Catfish are Predators and eat mostly live fish. They are extremely hard to get them up and coming they hug the bottom when hooked.

Kerry with his hands full. I just love the checked pants and had to include this picture to kid him about them. This is another Blue cat that weighed in the 20lb. class.

This is Don P of Mitchell Golf with a nice 23 and a half pound Blue Cat. This Cat hit a live bait 8 inches long.

Tom with Blue catfish caught below Kentucky Dam on the Tennessee River. This fish was caught with cutbait as it is called here, which is the sides filleted off gizzard shad and skin removed.

David P with 10 lb. Paddlefish. They are also called Spoonbill Catfish. These fish are only found in two river systems in the world, the Mississippi and Yangtze in China.
