Like most TV Series, the writers usually make mistakes later on. 1) King Kai said that the Guardian of Planet Vegeta destroyed the Saiyans, but later on we find Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta, and King Kai knew this.
2) Notice that Vegeta was surprised to learn from Dudoria that Freeza killed all the Saiyan, but later on he has a flashback where he says he knew all of that.
3) Isn't it odd that Freeza forgot how to regenerate body parts when Krillin cut off his tail, and when he was cut in half.
4)King Kai (Kaioh) over estimates Power Levels |

Grandpa Gohan was 79 years old when he found Goku
Krillin is one whole year older then Goku
Yamcha and Tenshinhan are suppose to be 4 years older then Goku, and yet they look so much older.
Bulma was 16 years old when she met Goku
Goku was 12 when he entered the first Tenkaichi Budoukai
Trunks is 6 years old when the Majinn Buu series begins
Goten is one year younger then Trunks
Notice how best friends are always one year apart
Gohan is suppose to be at the age of 4 when he was captured by Raditz Gohan also went to Highschool when he could do Calculas at age 4

Other stuff :
Nameks are either healers or warriors Namek Fusions can last forever Special Saiyan fusions last for 30 minutes Chi Chi wanted to name Gohan Einstein Goku never had to work because he won the Tenkaichi Budoukai Nameks only drink water, and they reproduce asexuality The androids were cyborgs (That is why Krillin and Goku could do the wild thing)
Movie stuff :
In Movie 1 This could have never occured if it goes along with the series. Gohan knew Krillin and Piccolo, but Gohan never met these two characters until the Raditz came. So we have to conclude that Goku wa brought back rigth after the Raditz Battle to kick Garlic JR.
In Movie 2 this had to have occured after the battle between Vegeta and Goku. It does not make sense though because Piccolo is there, and he was killed by Nappa. Also Goku never did a Kaioken 10, so this must have occured before he went to Namek.
Movie 3 should have occured after the Vegeta battle. Gohan has the mushroom cut, but then again why is Piccolo, Yamcha, Chaozu, and Tenshinhan there. They should be dead, and they could not have come back because kami is gone.

I have studied Chinese history because I myself have some chinese blood in my.
When I heard of the name Goku, I remembered that Goku is the name of the Monkey King.
The Monkey King stole the golden peaches of the gods. Just like Goku stole a golden peach from King Yamma. Also the golden peaches gave whoever ate them special powers, just like on Dragon ball Z.
The Monkey King had a special stick, just like Goku The Monkey King was dumb, just like Goku The Monkey King used a flying nimbus, just like Goku Goku cannot somersault 5000 miles like the Monkey King Oolong is named after the Pig who is the monkey's disciple. Oolong like the Pig are shapeshifters Oolong and the Pig are both dumb, and they both chase after women. Yamcha is also named after a former bandit disciple Tenshinhan is a 3 eyed god in the story. Krillin is a Tang monk Ox-King is derived from the Ox King Demon The Ox=King's fire montain is the same as the home of the Ox-King from the journey to the West lived on.
Unlike Goku and Oolong, the Monkey King and the Pig were punished Goku never hit Oolong over the head with a stick, but the Monkey KIng did that to the Pig OOlong never got drunk, but the Pig did. The Monkey King was a bully, but Goku is not.
Nameks are based on snails and slugs, that is why they can regenerate limbs.
