What's
a HAIKU?
A
haiku is a poem, originally from Japan (my wonderful home)! It's
a short poem, with only 3 lines. The first line is 5 syllables, the second
line is 7 syllables, then the third line is 5 syllables. And I AM
a Japanese dog, after-all, so here are some of my humble poems. I
AM also an amatuer, so please don't email me to tell me none of my poems
work.. =( People have done that!
WHAT??
Don't I LOOK like a Poet?
I
am shedding now
All
over their new nice clothes
Golden
dogs are cool
My
family is home
where
is my banana toy ?
So
that we can play
The
ground is muddy
I
run free, after the rain
Bath-time
is fun
It
is Supper time
Chomp
(x7)
I
now have hiccups
Nothing
to do here
I
hate being all alone
A-whoo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo!!
What
a strange creature
A
small furry hamster thing
Can
I eat it, please?
It
is a dog's life
She's
going to school again
I'll
go back to sleep.

Haiku's Molly has found *
These
are great ones from
Tom's
Poetry- Christmas Haiku
the
cat plays with
low-hanging
ornaments
till
one falls on its head
popcorn
on a string
the
dog licks off the salt
church
bells in the distance
