Lloyd David Creasey was born June 27, 1912, at Geddes, Charles Mix County, SD to Algernon Cidney and Maggie LONG Creasey. He moved to California with his father, brothers Algernon "Lonnie" and Clinton and sister Mabel along with his step-mother, Anna E. or COONEY and her son Lite (Lyle) and daughter Henrietta.
He married Wanda Strehlow Sep 8 1934 at Geddes.
Lloyd passed
away July 21, 1995 in Eugene, Lane County, Ore.
Wanda passed away June 5, 2002, in Eugene, Ore.
I have a little history to correct on my grandfathers side. Lloyd Creasey (my grandfather) died in 1995 in Eugene, Oregon (Lung Cancer). Lloyd, after Lonnie passed away in 1955, took the train along with the body and casket of his father Algernon back to SD. He was 12 years old and traveled by himself. Lloyd was survived by his wife Wanda Creasey (maiden name of Strehlow) who passed away on June 5th 2002 at the age of 85 also in Eugene. Lloyd and Wanda had 3 boys: Lon, Jimmy Robert (Jim Creasey my dad) and David. My father just recently passed away on November 20 2004 (Lung Cancer). I will send more info as we go along.
So if I am correct you would be my cousin, but I may not be accurate on this. What we both have in common is that Algernon was our Great Grandfather.
