Approach

In this section the approach of active individual mental engagement, understanding and managing the mind and mental existence from the inside is briefly outlined. (The actual process, mechanics and steps of the approach are discussed in the section Mental Problems.) The approach is contrasted with the traditional approach of dealing with mental problems of psychology and psychiatry, cognitive science, neuroscience, behavioral genetics and evolutionary psychology. The differences between the two approaches are discussed in some detail. In addition, the evidence and the proof behind the approach of active individual mental engagement are discussed.

The approach of active individual mental engagement differs substantially in a number of ways from the traditional approach of dealing with mental problems. It differs in view and understanding, in focus and concentration, in answers and solutions, and in objectives and results.

The approach is briefly outline in Active Individual Mental Engagement. In Psychology and Psychiatry the fundamentals of the traditional approach of dealing with mental problems are discussed. The differences between the two approaches, in view and understanding, in focus and concentration, in answers and solutions, and in objectives and results, are discussed in Differences. In What is the Evidence and Proof? the evidence and the proof behind the approach are presented.
