Come to the library to purchase tickets - $1 each or 6 for $5. All proceeds benefit the building fund. Drawing will be on December 6th at 2 PM. The beautiful quilt was donated by the Triangle Fiber Arts Guild.
PRESCHOOL STORY TIME!!
Every Thursday during school year at 10:00 AM. Join us for stories, songs, crafts, and fun.
ADULT BOOK TALK!!
Every 2nd Thursday at 1:00 PM - Join us for book discussions. September's topic will be any fiction or nonfiction travel book you've enjoyed.
SEPTEMBER is Library Card Sign-Up Month!!!
Everyone who registers for a library card during the month of September will be able to enter a drawing for a free book. Both children and adults are eligible. Five children's names and three adult's names will be drawn each Friday at 4 PM during the month of September. There will also be special stickers and bookmarks for those who use their library card during the month of September.
Library cards are free and may be used at any of the online libraries in the Four County Library System. Borrowing privileges are granted on the spot. Children under 18 will need a parent's signature to receive their card. Adults will need to show a picture ID.
TEEN READ WEEK - October 19-25
A cart of teen books will be on display just inside the door - pop in a check out a book! A booklet of the top 100 books for teens will be available. All teens who use their library card during the week or sign up for a library card will be entered in a drawing for a free book.
CHILDREN'S BOOK WEEK - November 17-23
Every child who signs up for a library card or uses their library card during the week will be entered in a drawing for a free book. Ten books will be given away on Saturday, November 17th at 3 PM. Children in kindergarten are eligible for their own library card. Special stickers and bookmarks for all children who use or sign up for their library card. Parent's signature required to sign up for library card.
